Very impressed with this hotel, lots of character to the exterior. Staff were excellent, some speak english. Great location & secure too. Rooms spacious plus lovely & clean. Breakfast was more chinese than international but there were options.

Rooms are big and clean. Personnel is not speaking English very well. Breakfast is mainly Chinese. The hotel has some details referring to Venice, but they are confusing only the whole style. Take care: you have to pay everything. So...good hotel, but...

The hotel exterior (patterned after St.Peter's in Rome!) and interior public places (lobby, restaurants, elevators, etc.) look impressive. The art work is a mixture of several different styles of architecture. The golden (winged) lion in a rotunda inside reminds me of Sumerian or Venetian design. They gave me a smoking room (I think all them are smoking rooms) so I...

My company booked me at this hotel so I had no choice. But those of you who do have options, beware. When we got there, we were given a 3/4 size bed (that's between a single and double) clearly for one person, since...

I usually err on the generous side in my reviews, but try and try I can't find anything I like about this one, especially since it's billed as a (Chinese) 5-star. Location isn't too bad, about 20-25 minutes from the airport, depending on traffic. Across the street is shopping mecca, with small stores, big stores, restaurants, street vendors selling raisins,...

Overall fairly average for a 5 star hotel. All the mini bar items in the room have price labels on them (reasonably priced too) except for the unmarked single tea bags which if you unsuspectingly use will set you back a whopping $US 10 and which sell for 5c in the market. Very cynical manoeuvre indeed!

Clean and relativity cheap, has the feel of a Vegas hotel, clean enough and good FREE internet. Our room had a computer with mic and head set, great if you want to skype your friends.
