This is a motel not a hotel. It is very old and dilapated although I gave it 2 stars because they do try to give you some 'hotel' facilities like toothbrushes, very thin bedroom slippers and soaps/shampoo etc. I wouldn't personally return here as it just feels dirty although they do try to clean it up as best as they can. There is limited to no English spoken and it's not within walking distance to the airport however you are able to request a free shuttle from the airport. After private taxi drivers tried to rip me off with an 80RMB price tag when it should have only been 10RMB, I was saved by a police officer who called the shuttle service for me. Taxi drivers refuse to drive you to this place because they don't want to drive about 2km away. Very frustrating. Will probably book a well known hotel in future as this one was a terrible miss.

All things are bad here: 1) uneasy to reach from airport. Metered taxi won't go as the distance is too short. You may call this inn and ask them to pick you up (if they can understand your English). I did try to talk to this inn at the phone number appeared on the agoda/booking.com voucher by using the 3-minute free call available at the airport. I chose English and I was only told by the recording voice that I could leave my phone number and they would call me back. I then tried to make another call and speak in Mandarin this time, but the phone system didn't allow a call made to the same number within 30 mins. At the end, I had to approach someone hanging outside the airport for pick up. Fee agreed at RMB40 after haggling (it could be RMB70). This inn is in 5 mins' drive. 2) It's so uneasy to locate this inn as the name board on the outside is only "Express Inn" IN CHINESE CHARACTER. No English name and no words of "JS" 3) The inn is so poor. It's like a sex motel. When I entered into the room, I saw 2 name cards on the floor near the door which advertise sex service. After I finished my shower, I saw 2 more similar name cards, totally 4! That means, there was someone from time to time approaching my room for such advertising. 4) Room not functional. Bed is rock hard. The heating machine did not work and I hardly slept when the outside temperature was about 6-8C. 5) Worse was that there was quite great noise, like from generator, throughout the night. At dawn, I then realized that the noise actually came from the exhaust fan at the toilet. I had accidentally switched on the fan which switch, unlike all other switches on the same row, was "ON" when it was in the "OFF" position 6) I had only slept 2 hours over the night, although I was on the bed already after 9pm. I slept with my down jacket as it's cold. I was surrounded by the exhaust fan noise throughout the night. I was also in fear of safety after receiving the sex service name cards. 7) Shower weak 8) Toilet roll of only 1 cm thick was provided. 9) The room overall was torn, old and dim 10) Shuttle to airport leaves every half hour with prior booking. I originally booked 6am but because the place made me so uncomfortable, I just wanted to leave asap and changed to 5:30am. The other 2 Chinese inconsiderate guests at the same 5:30a.m. time slot were late and the driver waited for them with several urges though. So, the van didn't start off on time.
