Well situated in the old part of Qingdao, you will fall in love with the area, this hostel is huge, if you like small place that's not for you. The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. The prices are ok

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The price and location was ideal. The staff were friendly and spoke english which was a bonus. The restaurant was very new and modern but a bit pricey. The rooms and bathrooms could use some renovations, if you compare it to restuarant. I would stay there again.

Can't fault this place - most probably the best budget choice in town. Location spot on, superb value for money, very friendly English-speaking staff, excellent big bar/restaurant/common area with pleasant atmosphere (sociable, yet your own quiet corner if you need it), reasonable WiFi for China, pool table, decent dorms, adequate toilets. I've always found that hostels that can split the... More

It's really two different places - upstairs and downstairs. Downstairs the bar/restaurant area is really modern and cool, very smart, reasonably priced, good beer, nice atmosphere, and even some chilled live music from a relatively bored-looking local band. There's a pool table and an awesome movie room with surround sound and everything. Upstairs is much more simple, rooms are pretty... More

I stayed here with a couple whom I work with in September. It was a really nice place to stay and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was only about a 15 kuai cab ride from the bus station and was right next to the market street. It was also close to the pier and waterfront. It was only a short... More

I stayed in a dorm room, so that's all I can comment on, but as far as dorms go it was very well taken care of with lots of space. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to the pier and beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The best part of the hotel, however, was the restaurant. An... More

Ok, the hostel is correct, but people working there are not honest. We stayed there 3 nights in dorm. We asked to make a laundry. When we got our clothes back, one brand new pant (brand "millet", special for travellers and not a cheap one) was like "melted". We checked with them the washing machine and the tube delivering the... More

My first hostel in Qingdao was this old church I accidentally discovered in 2008. It is a historical building and one of the original international hostes in China. The rate for the dorm used to be 25 per head and it was the same in the early part of 2014. Not it has gone up to 30 RMB but still... More
