Though not very deluxe hotel, it is quite and more importantly, clean which is not often seen in hotel in China. Being a Nikko hotel, there are more Japanese travelers in the hotel, so there are some Japanese style foods in the breakfast. In the usual days, it is quite too in the breakfast so I do enjoy that though... More

A night out with the significant other is always best spent in unexpected bliss. I have stayed with Nikko time and time again. I and the Mrs. don't normally stay in Dalian over night but for vacations that begin with an early morning flight, this is best. The way to really make the most out of your time in Dalian... More

I opted for the Nikko because it's a Japanese chain and I had hoped the service would be better than the usual poor service by Chinese operated hotels. The room was fantastic, and so was the view, but the overall service was horrible. The staff was not overly unfriendly, they were just incompetent. I called for rooms service and was... More

The Nikko is ideally located near the exhibition center and within one mile of the train station. It has uniques rooms in that the hotel is a cylinder -- thus the exterior room walls are curved. The room was tastefully done with a flat screen TV and several English cable TV channels (including HBO). The Buffet breakfast offered fare for... More

A decent experience. No hick-ups, nothing extraordinary either. Everything worked from check-in to check-out; clean room, nice bed, bonus point for the Japanese style toilet seat with too many options on how to flush the toilet or your backside for that matter. On the negative side it has to be mentioned that internet service is not great.

Dont mistakenly book the apartment rooms vs hotel rooms, they offer long term stays on other side of hotel and it's not good, wi if is not good, get room with view and higher floors, caters to Japanese business clients. 5th floor is spa and "services" so avoid that floor if not wanting those "services". Out of the way location,... More

Stayed for 5 days, business room, 21st floor, non-smoking. Nice large clean room with king-size bed - nice to have a slightly harder bed than usually found in hotels. Room cleaned daily with turn down at night. Good size TV and central heating was great in the cold weather. Super view out over the city from large panoramic windows. Nice... More

I have stayed here a few times for business. It is located about 20-30 minutes away from the international airport. This is a nice, spacious hotel located in a good part of Dalian. Pros: -Good service, from the bellman (they greet you and help with luggage) to the front desk staff. -Majority of the staff can speak Japanese, and about... More

Room: Double beds were so small, felt like twin. The mattress were uncomfortable and the carpet was stained. Toilet of course Nikko style, the best! Pool: They require swimming cap which you have to purchase from them for 60RMB. So bring your swimming cap when in China, FYI all hotels ask for swimming cap. Staff: Kind of rude, barely spoke... We stayed in two rooms for two nights in early June. The rooms are spacious and very clean, though the hotel is not as modern as newer ones. The staff speak good English and the service is good. There are nice views outside every room. The breakfast buffet is very good for the price, with an extensive range of western,... More
