We stayed at Anda in April this year and would have to give it a very mixed review. On the plus side....as with any guest house/hostel situation it was a great place to meet and easily chat to other travellers. Also, Anda arranged our trip out to the Inner Mongolian Yurt/Ger which was absolutely fantastic and the most authentic, low-key,non-... More

Common areas are nice, English speaking stuff, very nice owner. Rooms are a bit simple, shared bathroom with weak water stream. We did the overnight tour to the grasslands which was very nice but expensive and not completely authentic (we were staying in Mongolian yurts but didn't see or interact with any of them)

We did the one night one day grassland tour with a 6 and 11 year old. We stayed in a yurt, rode horses and an ATV, shot arrows, ate Mongolian food, interacted with Mongolians, toured a temple or two, and sang songs around a campfire made of Cow pies we collected under a perfect night sky. It was good. To... More

We didn't stay at the guesthouse in Hohhot itself. Instead, we took the 2 day tour to the grasslands and the desert. They picked us up from the train station - for free - and were very friendly towards us. When we arrived in the grasslands we saw a couple of very tourist camps with many yurts alongside one another... More

Inner Mongolia is a wonderful place to visit if you like vast landscapes. There are not many tourists which is really enjoyable. Anda Guest House let us choose between 4 different activities which are done in one day each. Grasslands and desert are a must to do. Unfortunately, they don't provide a lot to this experience, it's expensive comparing to... More

The people at Anda guest house were very welcoming and helped us arrange an awesome trip that included horseback riding in the grasslands, sleeping in a yurt, and camel riding in the desert. The hosel itself is clean and well managed. The staff are nice and their English is good. As far as Chinese hostels go that aren't part of... More

One of the most welcoming guesthouses ive been to. I ended up here after needing to get my Mongolian visa at the consulate. Its only a 15 minute walk as I found out. The staff were amazingly helpful and put up with my constant pestering and saved me a few times when I had to call because the taxi driver... More

I chose 4 point..just because of the way they treat you and the effort they put with the guests. The hostel is really old and not that clean, the toilet even not nice at all...but..and it is a big BUT , if is just for few nights, you can make it. Cause the staff is super kind and friendly, they... More

We stayed at Anda, enroute to Ulaanbatar. The owner was warm and friendly. Very nice people to talk to. The rooms are basic but sufficient. We travelled from Singapore and wasn't used to the extreme winter. Owner recommended us places to buy proper footwear which helped us survive the -25C weather in Ulaanbatar with our toes in tact!
