Look behind the bush, lote of rubble, plastic bags and ather waste are hidden, Breakfast was delicious, Thai food in the evening too. 10-year-old bungalows where it rains in the house, nothing is maintained. Everything in really used condition.. Long waiting for the little E taxi / caddys to get to the pool

Well, the villas are really eye-candy. the dark wood, the fruit bowl, even a computer to use. Veranda with a beautiful view. Simply remarkable and also super romantic. Well, super romantic until Montezuma's revenge kicks in. The extremely humid air, the heat and probably also the Pizza from the Thai restaurant that would make every Italian assume the fetal position and cry contribute constantly to the illness' kick-off. Bring charcoal pills with you when you're not used to the climate. Our bathroom was open to the jungle. I didn't even know that spiders of this size exist. :)

Stayed here Saturday night. Beautiful location. Large room - stand alone pole house really. Large bath and bed with plenty of living space. Beautiful large deck with great views. Lots of steps to get to room, so you would want to be reasonably fit. Very private - couldn't see any other rooms from my room. Room showed a few signs of wear but not unreasonable given location in a rainforest, near the ocean. The room was great the the bed very comfortable. Hot water and air-conditioning were fine. Insect repellent was provided, but I didn't notice the bugs. Obviously in a rainforest you are going to get some wildlife ! We arrived mid afternoon so missed lunch. All that was on offer was the Western Restaurant but we had a pleasant lunch overlooking Yalong Bay. Caught the bus up to the tourist area. Very nice sights being the dragon sculpture and the tower. The nice thing was, there were hardly any people around. Missed the suspension bridge on the first day but went back the second day. Free for hotel guests and well worth the experience. Also did The Strop which is the zipline ride. RMB100 and well worth it. It's in 2 stages so you walk 500m down very steep steps between stages. Not recommended for people with limited mobility. It was great fun and again there was nobody else there. I was worried about crowds and selfie sticks but I needn't have worried. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was a very large buffet with plenty of options. I was the only westerner there and they set knife and fork for me without being asked. I would have preferred chopsticks but it was a nice gesture ! The staff were plentiful and friendly. I was with a Mandarin speaker so I didn't have to test their English. I suspect it might have been limited. My only word of caution is that once you are in the hotel, you need to rely on the buses to take you anywhere ie reception to room and room to spa etc. The buses are free and frequent, but there's a bit of waiting around. I didn't get to try the spa or pool but they both looked good. We used the Chinese version of Uber to go into Yalong Bay for dinner but when getting taxi back, we had to double the fare to get him to take us. It's not far, but the taxi driver was not keen to do the trip at night as he wouldn't get a fare back, and it is a windy, steep drive. He told us it's rare for hotel guests to go down into Yalong Bay as it's not worth the trouble. I only saw Yalong Bay at night so I am not qualified to review it. Felt quite touristy but we had a nice meal in a Chinese Restaurant. There didn't seem to be many food options in the hotel at night, other than ordering delivery from another hotel. Yalong Bay has been described as the Hawaii of Asia. In my view it's nothing like it at all. However it's a nice place and shouldn't feel the need to compare itself with somewhere in America. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a couple of nights away, somewhere quiet and different. If you want a beach holiday, stay in Yalong Bay itself.…

The hotel was perfectly located in green mountains in Sanya Hainan. An incredible place for rest and relaxing at the heart of green nature. Nice breakfast is served in outdoor area with a perfect view over the green mountains. Rooms are set in a rows over the slope of mountain in a way that makes great view for each single room without any visual interruption by other rooms. Price is high and poor communication skills of personnel is a problem. Transportation vehicle is always available in a short time after guests request and passing minubuses are usually passing over the routs during day time. Staying in this hotel was one of my greatest experiences ever.

We stayed in the suite with 3 bedrooms. The pool was amazing and we are able to place our giant float inside. Overlooking from the pool and deck area is the amazing landscape. Everything is great including the beds, sofa and pool deck area. There are 2 master bedrooms with 2 huge toilets/wash areas. I have to admit that we did find the place too luxurious for the 4 for us. The living room is huge with a big screen TV, a long dining table with Chinese tea making facilities, the dry kitchenette is not very functional as it only provide a coffee maker. We were please to find that everything in the fridge is included in the room rate and the resort surprised us with a complimentary fruit basket! One downside about this place is there are insects and some may even dive in for a swim with you in the pool. This is unavoidable as the setting is in a natural hillside. It is accessible to go anywhere in the resort as your transport (private buggy ride) is just a call away. Overall we truly enjoyed the unforgettable stay.…

I booked the Peacock room for 2 nights. After checking in, which took quite a while for them to process, a small golf cart transports you up higher in the mountains. To get to my cabin, it was quite a long walk with lots of stairs. It was a individual cabin up in the mountain. You get a good amount of privacy but you could still feel safe because other cabins were in sight. The peacock room had a round bed. We arrived at night so I immediately noticed how little lighting there was in the room especially in the bathroom. The bathtub was located outdoors with a fence right next to it. It was small and looked a bit dirty so I didn't make use of it during my stay. If I remember correctly, the only toiletries provided were shampoo and shower gel so remember to bring everything else you would need. The HUGEST downturn was the air condition. It was practically not working the whole time. Since I visited in July, it was extremely hot and to have the AC not work was a nightmare. We called down to inform the hotel staff many times but every time they told us they had fixed it... it still ended up not working. If you're afraid of bugs or insects this hotel probably isn't for you. Since you're in the middle of the mountains you see insects and bugs all the time and sometimes they do end up in your rooms. The best part about my stay was definitely the view. Directly facing the bed is a glass door leading to the balcony. Its pitch dark out during the night but during the day its breathtaking. I picked this hotel because it was featured in one of the Chinese movies I've watched "If you are the one 2". If you're here reading reviews because of the same reason well you might be disappointed. The property was not as amazing as featured. Everywhere seemed worn out and needed some up keeping. The pool was either empty or dirty when I passed by. Breakfast was outdoors and was less than mediocre. There were a lot of flies and insects flying around and on the food put out. There was not much variety and the quality was also bad. Service was close to terrible. Other than the staff that walked us up to our room and carried our luggage, no one at the hotel seemed friendly. The breakfast staffs were the worst. They often ignored our requests or were extremely slow with service. They just didn't seem like they wanted to be there at all. Check in staff was slow and unwelcoming. The hotel is located at YaLong Bay, which is away from all the other hotels and resorts at DaDongHai so dining options were limited. To get down from the hotel to the rest of the island was also a pain so we ordered room service during our stay. The food was ok. It was close to some attractions like the suspension bridge and some parks which was a plus. Overall I would not recommend staying at the hotel unless you really want a room with a mountain view. It was a memorable experience but unless you have the time and money to waste, don't stay here. I was in Sanya for 6 nights so I had a little time to try this hotel out along with others. There are so many other better options in Sanya with the price you'd pay here.…

Beauty and the beast... Beautiful amazing scenery, beastly service. We asked to look at available rooms, waited 30mins for the manager to assist us. Upon confirming the 2 different villas for a period of 4 days ( we did not intend to stay long), the system got messed up and kept asking us to change rooms everyday... Too much of the hassle to enjoy the place!

Had dinner in its Thai restaurant on the mountain top. Panoramic view of the restaurant and its Thai food is fine. But transportation to get to the restaurant is a big issue. First, Taxi doesn't want to go up to the hotel lobby but just drop you at the entrance of the park. From hotel entrance, the hotel will use a buggy to send you to the mountain top, which is fine But Hotel Receptionists are helpless. They just don't care about your presence. After dinner you can hardly find any taxi to leave. Hotel receptionists are helpless and don't want to offer any assistance in calling taxi or getting any transportation. Don't stay in this hotel unless you don't want to go out of the hotel.

Facility and service typical of local resorts - inefficient service, poor build quality, average food. I came on an unseasonably cool day which revealed another flaw, no heat in rooms and the pool was icy / negating the premium for a private pool. Prices are high for this standard. On positive side, great views of natural area - with some refinement, it may work eventually. I checked out after one cold night and booked at the Marriott.

I love this hotel, this time we had the house "Cloud Eagel". A villa with living room and 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. A private pool and a Gorgeous Terrace over the trees. Wonderful silence because it is in the 2nd Part of the complex No tourists who come to visit the park bother you. Too bad that minibar is not included in the house price. But a big basket of fresh fruit. The western breakfast buffet is good and the Thai restaurant has exelentes food. The new Chinese restaurant on the 2nd Part of the complex was not bad.
