I had such a lovely experience at Edition Sanya, Everything was perfect, the staffs were extremely welcoming from the moment we arrive until departure. Special thanks to my butler Runki and Sophia from Sales&Marketing, appreciate for all the arrangements. There were various choice from the breakfast buffet and the cocktail from sky bar were stunning. I will definitely come back for the next visit!
Excellent public relation team at The Sanya Edition! As the Edition junkie, I’ve experienced all boutiques in North America. The Sanya Edition is my first stay in Asia with its amazing service! I would like to thank you the representative- my private server, Ms. Lena. She is amazing and always beyond my expectation, with extraordinary customer service and client-oriented mindset:)
As no doubt,Nina gave us great greeting and upgraded our room cause we carried our kids this time. It was a large suite with sofa bed and host bedroom as well. Very bright and modern. And everything in sanya edtion was great especially the restaurants. At last, thanks again Nina for her enthusiasm and dedication as a hotel guest service staff.
This is our second visit in as many years. It is absolutely the finest service in Asia. Food is excellent as are the accommodations. Resort Manager Rob and his team earn their rating as the best in Sanya
A repeat visitor, I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly for their amazing consistent quality, even during the pandemic. Edition Sanya surpasses high expectations - even during the “special time” when many businesses (understandably) do not hesitate to reduce service and close facilities to cope with the downturn. Not so at Edition! The quality of every aspect of hotel (rooms, pools including a massive warm seawater pool, restaurants, gardens, food…) remains excellent, and they provide little extras (unasked) every day. The service is not only generous and honest but also thoughtful. We were able to eat at Egret (superb Western food - shout out to Tina and Judy for great personalised service), Barbacoa (authentic Balinese food better than you get in Bali, prepared by Balinese Super Chef Imadé , who also greets every guest with warmth and charm), the Market (outstanding breakfast spread, and great authentic tasting Western and Asian fare for lunch / dinner). Other restaurants and bars are also open though we did not try them because we chose to eat repeatedly at Egret and Barbacoa (both worth travelling to if staying elsewhere). If you can, stay at Edition - it offers the full vacation service and exceeds expectations every time. If you don’t stay there; go there to eat- the food is EXCELLENT. Special thanks to Carina, Vikki, Mae and Chef Imade for making reservations and wonderful arrangements. One more thing: Edition provides Dyson hairdryers in the bathroom. Quality, quality, and quality are what they provide.…
The GOOD & THE BAD. I stayed here in Dec 2021 for 4 nights. THE GOOD: Amazing lobby, nice shower gel, good location. THE BAD: This hotel does have a really nice luxurious feel, but they have missed on the basics in such a huge way. You arrive into the most amazing lobby ever, half the size of a football pitch with amazing architecture everywhere, but then move into a TINY check-in room with a HUGE QUEUE, and only 2 counters operating with 5+ staff just watching. Then, when you start the check-in process it goes on and on and on and on for, in our case, 20mins+. MARRIOTT - you know the check in deal, people are tired after traveling and don't want to wait, this is TOTALLY unacceptable at this level of property. Fix it. Secondly, the rooms, and this is the big issue. The rooms are amazing, great showers and beds. BUT, the build quality of walls, ceilings and floors must use absolutely the cheapest material known to man. THE NOISE from above, below and each side of the room is UNBELIEVABLE. You can hear EVERY single footstep in the room above. You can hear EVERY word said in the corridors. You can hear EVERY door slam. For a luxury hotel charging these prices, the build quality is TERRIBLE. I just could not believe the noise, even after changing rooms. As a global hotel group leader, I cannot believe anyone signed off on this build quality. Front facing, the luxury feel is there, and done well in parts, but if only you had spent more of the money on the BASICS. People just want FAST CHECK IN and QUIET ROOMS. Is that so hard to understand?!!!!!!!! Come on, I know you can fix this, so please do so. Then this amazing hotel will be so much better. :)…
Had a marvellous stay in the summer so I came back for winter break. I stayed for four nights this time and got an ocean front room which is right in the middle of the horseshoe so awesome views from the balcony. There were ridiculously noisy people upstairs the entire time unfortunately, but I was prepared with my sound machine and sleepphones so make sure you pack a sound machine if you are a light sleeper. I thoroughly enjoyed the special shows they put on over Christmas as well. The drone show was awesome! The service overall is impeccable - special mentions to Carina at reception for helping this non-native Mandarin speaker out as well as Reizo, Miranda and Chef Suriana at Barbacoa. I will definitely be back to swim at the revamped lap pool! Shame it wasn’t ready this time round.…
Sanya Edition is the best hotel I have ever stay in the past ten years. Service is excellent and thank you GR Peggy for arranging the amenities to me and my partner when she knew we were celebrating our anniversary. Front desk Phoebe was very helpful and assisted us to print some missing documents. Definitely will come back on our next visit!!!
Me and my husband stayed at The Sanya Edition, we had received so many good recommendations that this was the best hotel in Sanya and after staying here, we can definitely agree with that! If I could describe in few words, it would be perfect, luxury, above all expectations! We stayed at the Loft Ocean Front that has a gorgeous sea view, a huge round bathtub and a jacuzzi on the terrace! We could stay the whole day enjoying the room, it was hard to leave the room! Breakfast is served at Market restaurant, it’s a complete buffet, with western and eastern choices, I was happily surprised that they even had decaf oat latte! I loved their pink dragon fruit that Rob explained us that it comes from a local farm near the hotel, that’s why it was so fresh! The hotel has 4 restaurants, during our stay we had european food at Egret, balinese sea food at Barbacoa and Hot pot/buffet at Market and all of them had delicious food, amazing atmosphere and attentive service! I recommend all of them! Every night we had drinks at Sky Bar, their rooftop bar, with an amazing view, DJ and great cocktails! The hotel has 4 pools and a small private beach, which is very nice as we didn’t see so many people on the same time in the pool and could relax and enjoy it a lot! Hotel is located in Haitang Bay, the new area where best and newer resorts are! It’s very close to Sanya Duty Free Mall, the hotel offers daily transfers to the mall and special discount coupons! Special thanks to the GM Edward, hotel manager Rob and assistant director F&B Felipe for making it a memorable stay! We will definitely stay at The Edition when we come back to Sanya!…
The Best Vacation Getaway in China. Another AMAZING trip to the EDITION in Sanya. I am so spoilt I may never stay at another property. Rob, Colin, Chef Made, Reizo, Adi, and Elzar make it feel like home! Thanks again, gang, and we’ll try to see you again in December. Looking forward to the opening of your new pool bar area! 🙏😊🤗
