The building is showing its age, but still a comfortable place to stay. The rooms with dual level floors have a stairway that is tricky to walk, great care is neeeded. My room on the 19th floor still suffered from street noise during the day, but was quiet at night. The staff do not speak much English, but they are...

No longer a five star, rooms are old and dated. Plugs are mostly Chinese old style, not Euro Plug. Breakfast Buffett was OK, nothing spectacular but included in room price. Bottom line; it's OK. If you're looking for luxury other hotels in the area have more to offer.

Good business hotel, location was good, the service was nice and friendly. Perfectly reasonable prices. Rooms are spacious and clean, but not what a good designer. Breakfast with a large selection. Apart from the restaurant on the ground floor, do not understand English any restaurant in the hotel.

Reccomended are the rooms at the 9th floor - which are Japanese style rooms. These has two floors, the second is smaller with bed on floor level. breakfast is good, and the hotel staff are helping. Other rooms (that I have been in) has smoking smell issues.

A good and nice businesshotel, the service was nice and friendly. We arrived quite late and they could find us a nice place to eat something for dinner. The breakfast has quite a good selection. We only stayed for one night at this hotel.

Good hotel to stay with your family and/or businness. If you attend Canton Fair in Guangzhou, the hotel has a private shuttle bus to the fair. The only issue is that the staff is not that good on foreign languages, specially English spoken anywhere in the world, here you can face a little difficult.

As far as hotels go in the Mainland this is a fair pick. Most of the staff are polite and the rooms are relatively clean and comfortable. The location is decent enough - but I have to take a taxi to the places I like to go. I ate there once but wouldn't do it again. The food was decent...

“They have suites with bedroom in the loft. I would skip them even though they are supposedly nicer. The stairs to the bedroom in the loft was poorly designed and narrow.”

“Remember in China they still have smoking & non-smoking rooms so be sure to ask for Non-smoking if that's what you want because the smoking floors wreak of smoke. Also, another cool option they do have are the Japanese Style rooms. They're 2 levels with the bed on the floor on second level....but those are all smoking rooms.”
