Just had one night stopover for return flight to Malaysia. Reached hotel already 10.00pm. So tired after long journey from Liujiaxia. Thanks to speedy check-in. Had good breakfast at the hotel. Variety of food, local and western. Love the self service coffee bar with different kind of coffee - Americano, espresso, cappuccino, latte .... not easy to get such offer... More

Great beds, clean, comfortable and very quiet. Despite limited spoken English staff were extremely helpful and tech wise. Limited western breakfast but plenty of variety to choose from. Apple shop located on the ground floor for any technical issues.

I stayed here on a visit to Lanzhou University. It was only a block away. There are many restaurants in the neighborhood, and a couple just in the hotel, and an excellent coffee shop, Caffe Bene, just across from the entrance to the University. The hotel has some nice touches, like large, soft bath towels, an excellent Italian espresso machine... More

Spent five nights here in early summer. The hotel is on the corner of two major streets and must have been nice in its heyday. The staff and service is excellent, many speak some English, they get another staff member if they can't. No issues at all except they didn't accept AmEx cards and it took a little time to... More

The restaurant opened 20 minutes prior to the opening time ; 7:00 but it was not completely ready. Around 7:15, Omlet station, Noodle station and the other hot buffet were fully ready. Handmade noodle from the Noodle station was very very nice ;9

I stayed three nights in a room with a double bed, that was reeally comfortable. The bathroom was a bit dated, but perfectly OK. Internet worked well. The breakfast is outstanding! Fshly made noodles are fantastic, and there is an excellent offer in general, even with relatively good machine coffee.

We came with a tour group so had no choice. Although we turned the A/C down quite low because it was warm, we were told that it was actually centrally controlled and the hotel didn't deem it warm enough to have real A/C for the rooms. There were no electric outlets near the beds, which is common in China but... More

We stayed while my husband attended at conference at the Lanzhou university across the road. The rooms are fine, clean, nothing special but nothing wrong. The food at the breakfast is also fine, but the restaurant was overcrowded and they don't control the number of people eating at anytime and therefore there is often not enough tables to sit and... This hotel is ideally situated at one of the main intersections in Lanzhou, near the University. The rooms are a bit small by Western standards, but very clean. The breakfast buffet is the best of the hotels in the area (I was there for a conference, and compared notes with friends). The staff are very helpful with restaurant recommendations, car... More

Ideally placed for the University. The rooms in this hotel and comfortable and well equipped. The bathrooms are functional and superficially clean, just try not to look at the mould on the sealant. On my first morning although breakfast was allegedly on offer from 06:30 the restaurant remained shut till 7:00, on later mornings it did open on time. The... More
