We stayed here for one night before flying. This is a good stop over hostel, they provide a airport shuttle service too. The rooms, bathrooms and kitchen were clean. They had heating so it never got cold in the hostel which was nice as it was cold outside! They had good security to get in and out the hostel. The location was a bit out of the way and not many restaurants nearby, 10mins walk from the big supermarket.

stayed here for one night, ignoring the reviews on hostelworld and google. the location is quite run down and dirty, but it seems run with good intent. it was nice to be able to use the kitchen. a little work would be good for the place, but not terrible for a quick stay. let us stay after we checked out since we had a very late flight.

The hostel is ok and pretty basic, only one bathroom for a dorm and the common area, the location is sketchy but ok, it's easy to navigate the city. They don't have breakfast and the price was higher asking at the desk than booking by booking.com.

Spent three nights here in June 2018. Staff are excellent and very friendly. They make you feel at home are always willing to help. The Kitchen is well equipped and the hostel provides free coffee and tea. Not a party hostel but it was low season when we visited. Would recommend.

Punta Arenas has almost grid layout. Av Independcia is not very well marked on the official map and therefore I did more walking to the hostel than necessary. Av. Independcia is parallel to Av Christobal colon and crossed Av Espana. Each Bus Operator (Pacheco, Cruz del Sur, Barria, Buses Fernandes, Techni-Austral) has its own office. The supermarket with long opening hours (9pm) is downtown. Bus and Supermarkt are some blocks away and therefore the location does not provide an significant advantage compared to other hostels. The Hostel has one large room (kitchen, table, reception, TV) and dorm rooms next to it. My dorm room had not a lot space for the bags. Appearance: Difficult to put in words: basic ?low-level. ? OK for one night, but I would not stay a week. I think they should update the photos to avoid surprises. I did not use the kitchen. Security against outsider ok. They have a keypad on the door. On arrival they ask via intercom if you have a reservation. Staff was ok (answered basic questions, do the check in, ask everybody to be quiet after midnight.).
