Only spent one night here but the owner was ever so accommodating after my flight was delayed and I arrived at nearly 2am. Had the single room by the entrance which was clean and cozy, as well as my own bathroom. Filling warm breakfast. Overall very pleasant experience. Thank you!

The owner is a welcoming lady who made us feel right at home even though we were only there 1 night. It's a bit of a walk to the bus companies but taxis are cheap. Breakfast was ready for our early checkout. She also let us store our bags for the day until our taxi to the airport. Great service.

I was delighted to have been in this familiar cosy hostel at Christmas, apart from the magical penguins trip arranged by the hostel, my boyfriend and I had a beautiful Christmas at the owners house that was so kind to invite us to spend the day there with her family. . Speechless experience! Must go back definitely!

This place was a great choice for Punta Arenas. The woman working at the desk was SO sweet and helpful. Though she had limited English skills, we were able to get by on what little Spanish I remembered from highschool. She can reccomend good restaurants in the area. The room was really comfortable and quiet. The hostel has a decent sized communal kitchen and good breakfast- lunch meats, yogurts, cereals, etc. Good value for the area.

We booked this hostel from booking.com and thought that hostels from booking.com would have a basic standard. We realized with this one, that there is no basic standard! We arrived and the very nice owner (who was on the phone) let us in with a hand sign and showed us the room in the same way. We stayed in a doble or twin or triple, however you call it, on the first floor. It felt like we were staying at our old auntie's house who gave us the honour to visit her. The bathroom on the first floor is very light and has a lot of potential, but it is not really taken care of. We had to ask 2 times for toilette paper! The owner has a baby, whom she adores and it is great! but therefore she is not really taking care of the guests... as of now.. I really hope she improves! Wifi worked well! Location is ok. 10min. walk from town and bus stations. The breakfast was half way ready, or not at all... it was all done ad-hoc. I understand it is a new place and she is learning how to deal with guests. Therefore it has potential to become a nice place. We saw she is also renewing some stuff. I would recommend this place as it was very cheap and go there only if you have a sense of humour. Hope that the owner very soon knows better what international travellers need (as a breakfast, reliable information about tours, toilette paper, etc.)
