Nice and comfy atmosphere once you get in the hall / cafeteria, the cakes look very good ( but I didn't taste them) ... Also the rooms are nicely decorated, and beds I have to say are comfortable;however the service is VERY POOR. There is a big discrepancy from what you see and what you get!! Additionally .... The overall...

Great hostal. Warm, cozy, clean and with very good breakfast (not continental or anything of the sort, but different kinds of cereal and bread). Staff was very helpfull and nice. The rooms are comfortable and large enough.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Amerindia after hiking the Torres Del Paine trail. After the wind, sun, rain and constant chaffing of rubbing my nose, my face was so chapped and dry. I asked the woman at the counter for a recommendation from their little product corner and was led to buy a little glass jar of Terra Luz...

The place is cosy & warm, the atmosphere is rustic and earthy (in a good way), the showers were hot and had good flow, the bed was comfortable and the staff very friendly. There is also a lovely cafe attached which makes lovely coffees, snacks, sandwiches salads...

The reception staff in particular were delightful and the whole place had a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Our rooms on both occasions were small and quite basic but there was a pleasant quiet sitting area on the...

We stayed two nights at the Amerindia before and after our trek on the W trail in Torres de Paine National Park. We had a different room each time. We slept really well each time (it helped that we were bushed on the second night). The décor is hippy-funky and very Puerto Natales. The staff of the hotel is first-rate....

I was part of a 5-man kayak expedition that stayed at Amerindia for several days. The staff was excellent and the rooms are very functional for large groups. Breakfast was very nice and the ambiance is delightful. I recommend this hostel highly.
