We enjoyed our stay at the Remota hotel...it started with the amazing Caudio that as a top management personally welcoming guests was a great start...than Sebastian provided us with keys to our rooms and we settled very artistic natural and beautiful room. In no time Claudio ensured that we had fantastic excursion to the Torres del Paine with fantastic driver Jorge, and guide...in New car and great lunch. The food in the hotel is great and reasonably priced

We were recommended to spend a few days in this area of Patagonia. This hotel is the best pick in our opinion —close to town & in easy reach of all the major attraction in this area . Cuisine is excellent also . Some design faults in the hotel which resembles several bunkers joined together to the lay person . Rooms are comfortable but terrible water pressure ,huge super king beds , lighting is not great either & rooms are overheated with little adjustment possible . There are also very few rails or safety walls for anyone aged or infirm & I suspect there could be a few falls & accidents regularly . Their programs are really interesting & varied ,with excellent , professional ,well trained staff for all levels of fitness & interest .Weather seems to be unreliable —very cold & windy during our visit .Not a cheap vacation , but definitely recommended if you are Wel prepared for all conditions

Dear selwyna_13 Thank you very much for your time to leave the comments. We are very glad that you enjoyed the service of our staff and the food. The hotel was design for the architect German del Sol and he was inspired in sheep shearing shed a very common building in patagonia, the idea is to conect the guest with very comfortable and warm spaces but also to conect him with the weather conditions wich are very unusual, in this way our guest is conected also with the nature and beautiful landscapes around the hotel. Best regards

We stayed four nights at the Hotel Remota. Indeed, the location of the hotel is excellent and the view of the sound is truly amazing. The room we had was large with expansive views of Puerto Natales. Although large and bright was not very comfortable because functionality was sacrificed in the name of design. We had to use the wooden cube as a luggage rack, thus leaving us without any other seat, except the wooden benches underneath the window. And after a full day walking around Torres del Paine a bench is not always a good option. The breakfast as well as the breakfast room is the highlight of the hotel. Amazing breakfast, multiple choices, fresh local pastries. The staff also was great, very attentive, very friendly and with a great taste in music. The same goes for the restaurant. We only had dinner once at the restaurant and the food was extremely tasty, the wine suggestions excellent and the staff very attentive and extremely professional. The house keeping was kind of erratic as was the staff at the reception. Upon check in we were greeted by two employees who certainly had some communication issues between them or were dealing with some problem unrelated to us but certainly did not make the check in easy. Overall, some elements were good and some others need attention.

What an amazing hotel! The views over Last Hope Sound are amazing, but the hotel is also a thing of beauty - original in appearance and it just blends in so well with the surrounding windswept countryside. It is really rather quirky inside, in a good way! The public areas are stunning in themselves but they also afford incredible views out of the huge windows. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious - so much choice and such good quality. Even the coffee tasted good (not necessarily the case everywhere in Chile). There is soundproofing in all the rooms so you are not disturbed by other guests or the very strong winds in Puerto Natales. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and wish we'd been able to spend more time there on our trip.

We were a little apprehensive when driving up to this desolate looking place with grass growing on the roof but we were overwhelmed once we got through the door. The interiors are light, bright and warm. Food options, especially the breakfast buffet, were amazing and all the tours the hotel organized were perfect for our few day’s spent in Chile Patagonia.
