We loved the location near the bus station. We loved that we could leave our luggage as we hiked The W. It was free since we stayed with them before and after the trip. We loved the laundry next door which did 5 shirts 5 pants socks and underware for $10 US! We ate at their restaurant three times and all was good. Breakfast is typical for the area. Toast ham cheese and cereal. Coffee or tea. Staff speaks very good English and will go out of their way to make you happy. Very satisfied!
WIFI IS VERY GOOD Came here expecting an average hotel and ended up being the best one on my entire trip from Argentina to Chile. Food is VERY VERY GOOD and the ROOMS are OUTSTANDING as well(very clean and big bathroom) They are very attentive and respectful. I’m only staying one day here but I wish it was more
We stayed here 2 nights in a private room, 1 before and 1 after TdP. Hostal is located 5 mins walking from bus terminal and 10 from 'city center' with atms and supermarkets. Beds were very comfy, bathtub very small (you can only sit in it, but no problem as it is big enough to take a shower) and breakfast was ok (similar as in other hostels and small hotels in Chile). We had dinner in the hostel twice, because the food was very tasty (especially the salmon). If you stay 2 nights in this hostel they can store your extra luggage, otherwise you will have to pay a small fee. Since 2 months Camilo does free walking tours starting at the 'hand-monument'. If you want to join, you can get a ride to this point and it ends nearby the hostel.
The room is very clean, the bed is comfortable but it is pretty basic. If you are looking for luxury, this isn’t it but it gets the job done! I stopped just for a night and it was perfect for what I was looking for. Front desk staff friendly. Is close to the bus station but not too close to the downtown area.
I stayed here one night before my W trek at Torres del Paine, and one night after this. First impression with this hotel is that the staffs are so friendly and tries to socialize with the travelers, which was great. They asked me about the soccer player from my country who played in their home league, and about united olympic women's hocky team, which was an issue those times. They felt like my room mates, which was pretty cool. And, they take your extra-weight bagagges for FREE, so I could leave my books, laptop, extra shoes and foods in the hotel, which helped me a lot with W trekking. This hotel is less than 500 meter from the bus stop. Laundry is just the next door. I would definitely stay at this hotel one more time, as long as the staffs are the same, and if I would do the W or O trek once more.…
