We stayed at the Codpa Valley Lodge as part of our altiplano tour for one night. Neither were the rooms clean nor was the pool clean. The dinner served was ok. The service is a minimum of what you expect for the price you pay. Admittedly, Codpa is far away from anything. Exactly the reason why one could make this... More

We had been riding our bikes through desert all day and the sight of this little oasis was a sight for sore eyes ! I was part of a tour so not sure of the value for money but this green oasis is a pleasant place to stay. The rooms.are very nice and the pool is great ! The generator... More

An oasis located in the middle of the desert, very nice rooms and a good restaurant. We were warmly welcome. Pool was unfortunately cold but we were visiting in winter. We did not have electricity in the room but it did not bother us as we stayed in the restaurant and then went directly to sleep. A very good standard... More

A welcome oasis in a barren desert. Comfy rooms with electricity that came and went and an absolutely freezing swimming pool. However dinner and breakfast were both very good and we were made to feel welcome despite having no Aymara or Spanish.

We had a very good stay in Codpa. The rooms are comfortable and clean (twice the size of a house from the locals). Very wide bed. It is not about the mistakes, but how a hotel deals with them. There was a mistake on arrival. The hotel was closed. But since we booked through a travel agency we contacted the... More

Crazy expensive given the lack of hot water, electricity for just 2 hours, no wi-fi, average food, dirty pool and listening to the couple next door... I'd recommend to avoid. Other much better options in the region.

The Codpa Valley Lodge was mentioned in a couple of guide books and tour descriptions, so we thought this is a good place to stay when following the Ruta de los misiones (coming from Putre). The location has some appeal: in the total outback, the hotel looks like an oasis. Unfortunately, the cosy style is the main reason to go... More

A great way to lure the tourists is not respecting the reservations made in advance. Not recommended at all.

Spent one night here enroute to Putre. The dinner was well presented, plentiful and tasty. Breakfast was basic, but nothing less than one would expect being so isolated. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were adequate. There is a pool, sauna and hot tub - these were under repair. Two hours of electricity is all one has to eat... More
