Nice, quiet hotel, in a splendid garden. Nice staff, good breakfast. Arrangements were made for early birds for Angkor sunrise visitors. There is free tuk tuk shuttle but it is nit very convenient. And it is not alway easy to get a tuk tuk outside the hotel
Arriving late after 6 hours night bus ride from phnom penh we were "invited to stay in a sister hotel 6 km away, 1 am morning. No pre info from hotel or booking com on this. I however had a valid and confirmed roim booking. So I just said:if you overbook not my problem. You find a solution now. I won't go anywhere with my wife being sick from diarrhea. I gave the idea of asking adjecent hotel which had a room and was amazing eventually. Sometimes being strict turns out to be paying off... :)
Would i stay here again , i think so its a very friendly hotel & clean. There were some points that could be improved upon maybe Better breakfast choices as it was a bit limiting. Better WiFi , for me unless I was sat near reception it wasn’t that good. More regular pool maintenance , it was green when we arrived for the first couple of days but have to say now it is ok so they sorted it out quickly . Plus points Free shuttle on a golf cart into town Free water each day Room made each day Big swimming pool English speaking reception staff So to summarise a nice tropical feeling hotel only 3-5 mins to town or $3 for a tuk tuk
I spent 5 days in this hotel which were ok, except that there are not enough tables for everyone for breakfast if the hotel is well booked. But during check-out I had a bad surprise. First I told them that the minibar hadn’t been filled up the day before. Nevertheless I had to pay the consumptions twice. And then they told me that the room had just been checked and one towel was missing. I asked them to look again, otherwise I’ll go to the room and show them. The guy from the reception looked, everything was ok, but three days ago a towel was missing 🙄 Wtf! i discussed a lot with them and I asked them to look through my luggage. They didn’t want to and let me go. So I really do not recommend this hotel, neither the spa (the treatment I booked was totally different from what I got) If ever you go there, keep the tip until the end.…
A hidden gem in Siem Reap. Slightly out of the city centre but this is a huge plus as it is quieter. The gardens and grounds are beautiful and well kept. Staff are lovely and very helpful. They offer free trip between hotel and city centre. If you decide to get a Tuk tuk back is it only $3. Large spacious room. Very cheap mini bar prices.
Stayed here in the low season- hotel had very few rooms booked, which felt very special! It’s not a brand spanking new 5 star type. Rooms are large- we had a kind bed with two king singles in the room. Shower/ toilet separate from each other with a shower over bath as well. Breakfast was simple but fine. I think it was tricky for staff to know how much to prepare considering there were only a few guests staying. Pool is lovely- the gardens are really specials and you can see so many butterflies and birds while lying beside the pool or floating on the water. The staff went out of their way to help us out with bookings and checking places were open. We were there during a public holiday week so it was good to check. It is more of a tuk tuk distance from town centre than a walk, especially with kids, but it’s a $3 fare, so not the end of the world. …
I cannot say enough about the beauty of the Le Jardin d’Angkor and the hospitality and impeccable service of every member of its staff. I recommend that family visiting Siem Reap stay here and experience this top notch accommodation for themselves! We have 3 young children (8,5, and 2) and this hotel was absolutely perfect for us! The hotel offered a free airport pickup and because it was quite late when we arrived and the hotel’s restaurant was closed, the driver offered to bring us to a restaurant in town and wait while we had dinner. We greatly appreciated the offer, but declined as we were just ready to get settled. Walking onto the grounds was like walking through a botanical jungle paradise, so rich in nature. The room was gorgeous and incredibly spacious! We were given a queen bed and 2 twin beds all which were beautifully decorated with fresh flowers, one bed of which had my name written out with delicate strips of leaves ❤️! The whole style of the room and bathrooms (complete with a stone tub), was just gorgeous! We had a family suite with a pool view and it was perfect for our kids who were always ready to just hop into the water. The pool is stunning!!!! It’s like swimming in a jungle paradise, and being able to see that beautiful and calming view everyday was amazing . Breakfast is served in the beautiful open air restaurant. There are Western and Asian options available to order some items from, the buffet has breads, croissants, fresh fruits, bacon, sausage, and cereal, and there is also a station where eggs and pancakes are made to order 😊. The restaurant is also open for dinner and has a pretty big menu. This was a great option for our family to have especially with our young children and after long days of temple touring or swimming. The front desk also serves as concierge and was also extremely helpful with information on tours and activities. In fact, it was the staff at the front desk that made all the arrangements for us to see The Cambodian Circus, Phare! The location is prime as well and the hotel also provides a free tuktuk (more like extended golf cart) to and from Old Market/ Pub Street, which is awesome! Most of all we loved the privacy our family had. We were in a corner room and rarely ran into other guests (it was low season too). Overall, we had a wonderful stay at LeJardin and would highly recommend it!!!! …
Booked this off Booking.com - hit a good deal. We had a bit of mix up with how many people could stay in a room even though I had called and spoken with the manager but the front reception guy managed to find out what happens sans offer me a solution I was happy with. He did very well in dealing with a disappointed Barang. Could see he was nervous but stayed focused and calm - well done! The rooms are great - we had a deluxe and a family room. I would not spend the money on the deluxe as the king bed is 2 doubles pushed together with a 4 inch crack in the join - not ideal. We stuffed it full of pillows and basically slept on one side. The pool was awesome - the buffet breakfast was also awesome. Air-con was cold and the showers hot! So all in all still good!
I stayed in 2 connecting rooms for 4 nights. Check in was speedy and rooms were spacious and clean. Nonetheless, i feel that this hotel is poor mannered in the sense that the owner/manager of the hotel who sat outside the counter was constantly interrupting my queries with the staff. He was either guiding the staff or correcting the staff as the staff were unsure of my query. The staff were poor of knowledge and they do not have a standard operating procedure. For example, i happened to need to go to a same place twice on one day. When i came back from the place for the first time, i quickly made a reservation to go again later in the evening. However, they refused to send me this time. They told me that the destination was not in town and their electric car was low bat. But they have just picked me back to the hotel from the same place and i would be going only 3 hours later. I feel that they were simply brushing me off with some excuses. Meanwhile, do go to breakfast early as when i requested to refill the bacon at 8.30am, the staff told me that they ran out of refill. Probably do give the hotel more time to groom before the next visit. …
I have spent 3 nights in this hotel in Siem Reap. The structure of the hotel is very nice, developed around a big swimming pool and a rich garden. We had a big room with 3 single beds, decoration is simple but nice and cozy, well furnished with hairdryer, safety box, minibar, air con etc. The bathroom is also big, with bath and shower. The staff is super kind, always smiling, gentle and helpful for everything you may need (restaurant reservation, laundry, spa reservation etc.). The breakfast is good and provides a variety of food, fruits, cereals and croissants, eggs, bacon, rice etc. The day we went out very early to see the sunrise at Angkor Wat, they prepared the breakfast for us to take away, they have been adorable. The location of the hotel is a bit far away from the city center (~2 km from the pub street) but the hotel offers free transportation every day to the city center and it’s very convenient. It takes around 10 min to reach the city center by tuck tuck so it’s not so far. Only one thing is that we expected the transportation to the airport to be included in the fee as written on Booking.com, but they said that only the pickup from the airport was included. Anyway They have arranged it with tuck tuck and it was charged 8 USD. I strongly recommend this beautiful place and it’s perfect if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation.…
