A home away from home. Sokphon the owner is an incredible, generous, knowledgeable host. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Not a party hostel, more a place to recharge your batteries, get a taste of the local food and culture and meet interesting people. We would highly highly recommend staying at the Pool Party hostel if you are visiting Siem Reap or looking for a longer stay. Hakun Sokphon and staff 😊

From the minute we arrived at Pool Party Hostel we felt right at home. The owner was extremely helpful with everything we needed, and any questions asked. The rooms were basic, comfortable beds, hot showers and a small patio. A/C worked very well. The food at the hotel was delicious and fair priced. The pool was clean and we used it daily to cool off. Everyone we met staying there was friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay again when we return to Siem Reap!

For a problem of broken toilet I had to wait almost two days for another decent room. The manager of the Hostel was very rude and unable to solve the problem properly with the guests. A badly organized hostel, far from the downtown .

If you wanna take a trip in Siem reap don’t be missing with this hostel. Also location pool view really made me wanna stay longer. Me and my friend really appreciated and enjoy full during stay here. Must recommend to everyone who wanna stay in Siem reap!!!!

This place has awesome staff, awesome food at a great price and a lovely room. The Air conditioning worked well as well as our fan in the room. We had a small balcony also which was nice to sit on in a morning. The pool is lovely, the food was very reasonably priced and the staff are always trying to help. There is music on by the pool until around 11pm but this can't be heard from the room so you can go to sleep at any time. Would definitely visit again.

Well, too start with... I booked online at booking.com and it was a warm welcome. Staff and owner were so friendly and helpful. At night i had dinner and honestly it was worst food i ever had. I read other traveller's reviews before booking here for two nights. My stomach was upset, i felt terrible whole night, i requested booking.com to cancel my other night stay and they and owner of property responded immediately. They were so generous that they offered me refund which i accepted as there was nothing to do there. But the damage was done on my side! I had booking for Angkor wat (for that i flew all the way from Vietnam for 3 days). About dorm, bed was ok or good but oh my god, the aircon was not working as i was feeling hot and lots of mosquitoes bites. Only thing which was good (as i gave 3 stars) was the positive responses from booking.com, owner and the staff. Later they offered me free ride to my next stay at Pleasure run by Japanese lady Miss Rumi. My stay at pool party hostel was because of positive reviews on booking.com and my indian friends who visited last month to Siem Reap but i feel sorry to say i didn't got what i expected and it's big loss of my time and money (flying from Vietnam to Siem Reap and going back and transportation to hostel + visa fees) which will never come back. Hope the owner take this seriously and improve quality of food and rooms without mosquitoes. This is my opinion and may be next time if i visit there, they will improve (as owner personally called me and welcome me next time and promise me for improvement). Anyway thanks to booking.com & owner for giving me feund but my tour plan is failed and i lost big money because of my worst experience. No complaints for reception staff as they were so generous and friendly.

Hello Nuks73, we are very sorry that you did not enjoy your time with us at Pool Party. As you kindly mentioned in your review, we did everything we possibly could have to make up for it. We were truly surprised that you didn't enjoy the food as we normally get excellent feedback but as soon as you let us know, we tried our best to make up for it. We do wish that you would have informed us when you got the food so we could have avoided the whole ordeal but we did our best after the fact. We hadn't received any complaints about the aircon in that dorm or the mosquitoes from you during the night or any of the other guest but thank you for letting us know now so that we can be sure that it is in working order. Twenty minutes walk from the old market will bring you to the hostel. Or a 6000 riel 5 minute ride by tuktuk. Clean fun pool. Good food and beer at cheap price. Rooms ok for a hostel. Bar staff friendly.

We slept fine, although it says 'party' it's actually quite chilled. Our room was on the other side from the bar. It was one of our favourite places on our 6 month trip.

Yes, private tuktuk. Driver stays with you, you can spend as long as you want at each site. He takes you for lunch to his 'favourite' place, food is more expensive than in town but all the eating places are roughly the same price.
There are more places to choose from in the Siem Reap area.
