We had a wonderful stay at Viroth’s hotel. An outstanding experience in all regards, from the beauty of the hotel to a highly attentive service and the unique touches such as cold tea and fresh sented towels handed to you after returning from a long visiting day. Not even to mention the unexpected Rolls Royce pick up at the airport. Cannot say enough about the service. The staff is super attentive at every moment. Very friendly and personalized attentions. The hotel management was very accommodating on our personal circumstances (we had to change our dates at the last moment and they show great flexibility). Superb amenities including pool and excellent spa (thank you to Kanha for her wonderful body treatment, massage and facial, and to Meng for his expert advice on treatments) One of the top experience we had (and we happen to have to travel a lot in many different part of the world).…
We stayed five nights at Viroth’s and loved every minute. Some really great special touches like being picked up from the airport in a vintage Mercedes, and being offered a cool towelette whenever we got back to the hotel. Staff are highly professional, friendly and helpful. They are a true credit to the hotel. Food was amazing not least the breakfast, which includes all options (local, plus pastries, French toast, fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, cooked eggs, bacon etc). We also had dinner at the hotel one evening - also delicious, local and non-local dishes, all very fresh and flavoursome. We sometimes had a cocktail in the restaurant/open area. Really fresh and innovative recipes. Decor is 50’s and chill. Our rooms were very spacious with a temperance outside (we were on the ground floor). The whole hotel has an outside-in design - the entrance/restaurant area opens right into the pool. Lots of greenery. Large pool with comfortable loungers.…
We stayed in this exceptional and artistic hotel for three nights whilst visiting the temples. It is so luxurious and yet artfully decorated with spacious rooms and first class amenities. It beats, the main five-star branded hotels and is great value.
Incredible hotel experience- 1950’s boutique luxury hotel with high attention to detail, with a well deserved Trip Advisor #1 rating. Location: We loved the Bo Wat neighbourhood location which is packed with cool & trendy cafes, cocktail bars, and restaurants. And it’s only a few minutes walk away from the main touristy area. Arrival: Your stay starts with a vintage car airport pick up in a 1976 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow. Oh the glamour! That set the tone for the rest of our stay. The hotel is absolutely stunning with 1950’s inspired architecture and decor. Rooms: They are huge and beautifully appointed, and the subtle 50’s decor continues. Air conditioning & ceiling fan is most welcome, as is the super-strong rain-shower, and the extra large super-comfy bed. We had a pool view room on the second floor and we couldn’t have chosen a better room - loved the lush tropical pool view from our balcony. The pool is just so beautiful too, and surrounded by stylish colour coordinated sun lounges, and a lush tropical garden. On each poolside table there’s a discreet “black-pebble” call button/ ring for service. Service: The service was absolutely sublime in every possible way. They fuss over you from the moment you arrive at the hotel entrance, and all throughout your stay - not in a bad way, but in the most welcoming & kind manner way. The restaurant: It is just was beautiful- located in the bright airy space between reception and the pool. Again, service is sublime. Breakfast was perfect- loved the watermelon juice, and the granola. And toasted baguette. Great ice coffee too. Dinner is also perfect- absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The Hotel Spa: Post Covid, it is now run/ managed by Sokkhak Spa (From the highly Rated Sokkhak Spa River Side) and it was just amazing. One of the best massages I’ve ever had - so good that I booked immediately for the next day! Excellent therapists, tranquil setting, and very reasonable prices. Definitely treat yourself here, especially after a day out visiting Temples. The end: Our visit concluded with an airport transfer in a long sleek-black vintage 1970’s Mercedes limousine. These vehicles are all in an immaculate condition. What a perfect end to what was a perfect stay. We would honestly come back to Siem Reap just to stay here at Viroth’s again- I can honestly say it was one of the best boutique hotel stays ever. And exceptional value for money. Tip: Pick a pool view room, and book a vintage car airport transfer.…
The Viroth Hotel brings a touch of luxury to your stay in Siem Reap right from the first moment with your collection from the airport in a vintage Mercedes or Rolls Royce. The interior courtyard design around the stunning pool creates an intimate resort feeling. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, each time you return from trips out it feels like being welcomed home. Rooms are large and beautifully designed, the food is excellent and although most people eat outside there is an air-conditioned glass enclosed area if you prefer. Highly recommended.
This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We couldn’t fault the staff and their attention to detail from the hand towels when we entered the hotel to mosquito spray when we left the hotel each day. The service from all the staff was incredible. They genuinely cared for our comfort. The pool and Bar area were cosy and had a great ambience. The rooms were large and comfortable. We would seriously recommend this hotel.
For us, this beautiful hotel remains the Best Boutique Hotel in Asia. We have been here over the years 5 times, last time in Jan-Feb 2022, now we were here another 12 nights around New Year 2023. This hotel is truly amazing. We love the superb staff (they are so wonderful, friendly, skilled, caring!), the service (just too good!), the room (so stylish!), the bed (so comfy!), the food (so delicious!), the pool and terrace (so sunny!), the lush garden (so green!), we love their vintage cars (ask for the Rolls!). Great compliments and we definitely will come back again! Of course. Thank you, team Viroth's!!
Very beautiful boutique hotel perfectly located in Siem Reap. Extremely tasteful decor with large comfortable rooms. They have picked us from the airport in an antique Mercedes limousine, part of a collection of cars owned by the hotel. The absolute highlight is the staff! Courteous, kind, professional and accommodating of all our needs. They’ve helped us with our visits, renting bikes, booking restaurants and recommending an excellent guide, Mr Borey. Lastly I would like to emphasize that we’ve had a last minute challenge to enter Cambodia and had to postpone our trip for two days. They changed our reservation immediately and were very kind in the whole process. An excellent choice on a magical place
Service is everything and the people at this hotel are wonderful. They seem to take a real pleasure in their work and can't do enough for you. the design of the hotel is incredible and every area is kept immaculate. We were there for 5 days and enjoyed every moment - leaving feeling relaxed, well looked after and planning a return. The 1960's retro vibe is something quite special and doesn't stop at the vintage car service.... but it is not pretentious, in fact the staff make it just the opposite. The food is fresh and tasty. The rooms spacious and well thought out. We go to a lot of hotels and this is definitely in the top tier of experiences we have had . Big mentions to Theary, Saiyon, Bross, Sokha and to Socheat who even our grumpy teenager took a real shine too. The effort the staff put in to making our experience excellent really made this the most memorable stay. Thank you all at Viroths.…
This hotel deserves 6 Stars !! We loved the warm inviting unique atmosphere. Midcentury decor is beautiful. The staff are all so genuinely caring and make a point of getting to know each of the guests making you feel like you are part of their family. I can’t say enough about the staff. So wonderful and professional. The restaurant and bar was perfect offering indoor and outdoor seating. We always chose outside. Breakfast was included and had many choices. We had dinner there 2 nights and it was exquisite. We don’t usually eat at a hotel restaurant but this was amazing. I highly recommend eating here. The pool was beautiful and salt water. Pool service for food and drink available. Car pickup from the airport in a vintage car is just the best. Just stay here. It is the very best.
