Water and foliage have been the inspiration behind all our projects, from our very first, the Pavilion, in 2006. When we first saw the land we would eventually build Templation on, we were immediately inspired by this pocket of untouched natural landscape. Working closely with architects Ivan Tizianel and Lisa Ros from ASMA, Templation’s design revolved around recreating an echo of the waterways and reservoirs that once fed the ancient city of Angkor. Only clearing the dense underbrush, while preserving the native trees and plants; Templation’s suites, pools and features were explicitly designed to harmonise with the landscape that first inspired us. Secluded and exclusive, Templation is a retreat of winding paths and private villas scattered amongst a botanical park and landscaped pool, bordering the entrance to Angkor.

We stayed here for my partners 60th birthday, so selected a two room apartment with private swimming pool.

The rooms provided every luxury we could wish for.

Both rooms had large luxurious bathrooms part of which are outside. Marvellous showers and a massive bath..

The large sitting room contained a fridge, TV with wide range of movies, sofas and tables.

The bedroom contained a large comfortable bed, plenty of storage, table and day bed.

All the rooms were spotless, and everything worked as you would expect such as a/c and wifi. We had room service on a couple of occasions for which you were only charged restaurant prices, nothing extra.

What made this apartment special was the private outdoor pool, about 10m x 5m. Surrounding it were loungers , chairs, table and a day bed.

All the staff were helpful, particularly the reception staff who couldn't do enough for you.

Breakfasts were very varied and you could chose what you wanted from a selection of around 20 choices, Western, Continental or Eastern.

We ate in the restaurant a couple of times, as it was very reasonably priced. This is the only area where I was disappointed. Not with the food, but the standard of the staff. They did not seem to be well trained in restaurant service, and nor did they speak very good English which caused a few problems. If you want to see how restaurants can be run, visit Haven or Embassy in Siam Reap, exceptional service and very good English spoken

I went to Siem Reap with two friends and we each got our own Jungloo. These are permanent tent structures, but don't let that description fool you. They're comfortable and roomy, each with a private plunge pool and a very comfy queen-sized bed. The room comes with complimentary soft drinks and water, nice shower soaps, and a lovely bowl of local fruits, as well as wifi and a smart tv, and rates include breakfast. One night it rained, and the sound on the stretched canvas exterior was very peaceful.

The Templation main pool is huge and interesting and beautiful. Food is nice, cocktails were tasty, and the staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgable, helpful and kind. The location is nice, a tad out of town and quiet, but downtown is very accessible. Close to the Angkor complex too. We rented bikes (organized by the hotel) and arranged our own local tours as well.

I will absolutely stay here again!

Had an amazing 4 day stay in this beautiful hotel.

The hotel is located close to the entrance to the temple site, which is very convenient. Especially when you want to see the sunrise over Angkor Wat, you only need some 10’ in a tuk tuk (it can be chilly this earning in the morning; tuk tuks typically try to arrive at about 5:30 at the site).

The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They arranged our tuk tuk and guide and provided breakfast boxes for the early morning visit and for the day of check-out (we had an early flight). They were always ready to help with the biggest smile!

The hotel has their own tuk tuks waiting in front, ready to bring you to Siem Reap for dinner and to pick you back up after.

The rooms are very luxurious and have a decent outside bathroom. An experience in itself!

The restaurant is extremely good and the restaurant/pool are very well decorated in the evening, so a perfect opportunity for a romantic dinner!

Overall an amazing stay! Congrats to the hotel staff and management. The hotel is highly recommended!

We stayed there for 5 nights in a Pool Villa!
So much space and so clean, the staff was extremely friendly.
The best there, aside the private pool with jacuzzi function, was the Breakfast.
It was possible to order all from the Menu as often as you like, and the extra was - you could have your breakfast inside the pool on a floating tablet.
In the evening there is happy hour for cocktails what we also liked very much...3,5 USD for one is cheap!
We made a trip to Mount Kulen, Banteay Srei (with a driver ordered online for 60 USD) and also to the City Siem Reap (with a TukTuk for 3 USD per way) from there.

What a wonderful sense of peace and tranquillity we experienced at this beautiful boutique hotel. Amazing friendly and attentive staff where nothing was too much trouble. The huge and glorious swimming pool, which was a delight to relax around in the afternoon after our very hot sightseeing mornings. Indeed, the whole of the grounds were immaculately maintained, and we loved the 4 white rabbits and 2 cats that called the grounds home. Made it all feel very welcoming. The contemporary open-air restaurant was lovely. The food on offer was also very good and reasonably priced for a hotel of this quality. We particularly enjoyed the variety of the a lá carte breakfasts with delicious homemade yoghurt and breads, which made it very special. The location is perfect only 10 minutes away by Tuk Tuk (very atmospheric and fun way to travel) from Ankor Wat and the numerous other fabulous Temples and in the opposite direction Seam Reap. It really did feel like a calm Oasis in an urban area, a simply fabulous retreat. The only slight criticism would be in regard to the room styling, which could be more luxurious, but this is more than made up by everything else on offer. My partner and i look forward to returning to this beautiful hotel and wonderful country very soon indeed.

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. The rooms are lovely the swimming pool amazing. The place was very relaxing and we could have easily stayed another few days. It is out of the main town so a 2$ Tuk Tuk ride in but as we prefer peace and quiet that was not a problem.

Prices were reasonable and less than we were expecting for a 5* hotel in major tourist area.

The food was very good, only time we had a problem was on the last morning when for some unknown reason the chef decided to put onions in the scrambled eggs.

The stay was not without another hiccup service wise on our last evening. The restaurant was very full, it was Valentines Day so it had a number of external clients for dinner and the staff seem to lack the experience to cope. For us the leisurely pace of dinner was not a problem but the ?Manager? Mr Dianai (sorry for spelling) worked very hard to pull things together and apologised profusely for the service. Reading other reviews it doesn't appear to be isolated so I hope that they get it sorted as it really was the only thing that wasn't perfect.

We really enjoyed staying at Templation with my wife and baby. The rooms are very nice and spread across the hotel area, which means that we felt independent and not crammed against other guests. Even when the hotel was full, we felt we had a lot of space.
The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and efficient for anything we requested. At the restaurant, the staff (Uy, Chakriya, Vichaka and Sophall) were especially nice and they took great care of our baby, always proposing to play with him and cheer him up.

The hotel is also ideally located to visit the temples (15 min drive to Angkor Wat) and outside of the busy city of Siem Reap.

I would definitely recommend Templation and we would go back in a heartbeat.

I enjoyed every part of my stay here at Templation and wish I could have stayed longer! The service is amazing. The staff is so friendly and attentive. The hotel is away from the chaos but not far if you'd like to venture into the touristy area. Breakfast can be served directly in your pool, floating on a tray. Fresh fruit is provided in your room. The private villa is so relaxing. The open-air restaurant has a view of the large community pool and also provides delicious food and cocktails. I definitely would stay here again next time I come back to Cambodia!

We stayed in a two bedroom villa, which was spacious and each bedroom had its own open air bathroom (just remember to keep the bathroom door shut to prevent insects from flying in). All the rooms were fitted with ceiling fans and aircons. The private pool was a pretty generous size compared to most villas. There was a huge main pool - we didn't try it out much, since we had our own private pool but it was very beautiful.

Location wise, the hotel is closest to Angkor Wat than most other hotels but keep in mind that this means it's further away from town (although you can easily get to town with a 10-15 min tuk-tuk ride). For us, we enjoyed how quiet it was.

A friend recommended this place and she really liked it so I decided to book this hotel for a family holiday. We booked the 1-bedroom pool villa which was perfect for a family of four. They converted the living room into a bedroom with two single beds which had its own bathroom. The rooms were large and the separate pool was an added luxury. The hotel pool was gigantic and beautiful. Food was delicious which was good because we ate nearly every meal in the hotel. We took advantage of the spa too which was lovely. Service was great all around. I would definitely come back if I was ever in Siem Reap again. We stayed in Oct 2018 but I'm a bit late with this review!

We were there in July this year. Pub Street is about 15min ride by tuk-tuk. We never had a problem getting a tuk-tuk, but July is low season. I am surprised by your comment about breakfast - we loved the breakfast there. It’s not typical buffet with all the food laid out - but it is “all you can eat” but you order off the menu. It’s bc they don’t want to have the food sitting around in the open, as the restaurant area is open (to outside). The food was freshly prepared and generous is portions.
