We enjoyed our stay at La Rose Blanche. The room is very large, great air conditioning and fantastic for the price. Staff were really lovely and attentive, airport pickup was seamless and the front desk staff helped us organise a tour of the Angkor temples, which was helpful. One downside, the restaurant and spa facilities were ok but definitely not at the same standard as the rest of the hotel. Probably difficult for a smaller hotel to cater for these kinds of things. Overall we loved the hotel and had a fabulous stay. Would definitely stay there again and just venture outside the hotel for food and spa/massage facilities :)

We arrived to Siem Reap and were met at the airport by our tuk tuk driver for our complimentary transfer to the hotel. He was very pleasant and the ride was enjoyable! We arrived to the hotel and experienced a prompt check-in and were shown to our room. We had a room on the ground floor with a view of the pool and our own private porch seating area. The room itself was very spacious and clean with an in-room safe and GIANT frer-standing stone bath tub which we only used to rinse our feet after a day of walking around. It was nice to look at though! The hotel provides daily bottles of water and the toiletries were re-stocked daily. The pool area is small but relaxing and a great place for a dip on a hot day! A couple of days in to our stay I double checked our confirmation of booking and it stated that for a 5 night stay we were to receive a welcome drink and cold towel, fruit basket in the room, a complimentary lunch or dinner at the hotel restaurant and two way airport transfer. On arrival to the hotel we did not receive a welcome drink or cold towel, which is fine and we also didn't receive a fruit basket in our room, which is also fine, but we also didn't receive any voucher or mention of the complimentary meal. I queried this with the lady in reception and it was promptly rectified which was great! The other things may have just been a slight over-sight. Breakfast was included during our stay and it consisted of choosing items from a menu rather than a buffet. Breakfast was hit and miss. The eggs Benedict was ok but don't expect a runny egg. The eggs were very over-cooked and one morning they must have been pre-cooked then cooked again because they were inedible rocks. We asked to order something else and the lady in the restaurant was happy to help. During our stay we did laundry through the hotel. They charge $2USD per kg (you can find places that do it for $1USD per kg) but we decided to pay the extra for the convenience. The clothes we received were clean, dry and neatly folded but there was one item missing. I queried the lady at reception about this and she contacted the laundry to see if they could find it. They apparently couldn't find this item at all. I initially only received an apology from the staff at the hotel but they then offered to give me back the value of the item which was nice of them. All in all we had a pleasant stay at La Rose Blanche and would happily return if we ever visit Siem Reap again!

Had a lovely stay at La Rose! Small but very cute, clean and great staff. Even though its located in Siem Raep, it’s so quite op there. Pub street is 5 minutes away with the tuktuk. For our stay Mr. Vichet was our tuktuk driver for about 4 days. He is the tuk tuk driver of the hotel. He was so nice and friendly, and let us see all of Angkor Wat and outside. Would definitely recommand to do a tour with him. Thank you so much Mr. Vichet, hope to see you again!

We’d go back, in fact we’ve booked it again for next week for a night. Great value for money with everything you need, lots of space in the room and balcony and we loved the shower with its raised platform and draining on four side through stone surrounds. The bath looks great in the room as a feature but wasn’t particularly comfortable if you’re short - but hey its got one and looks great. We’ve been travelling now for some months so while some of the service balls may have been dropped a little, we were happy with our choice of hotel, just out of the noise of town but yet a few minutes walk to it when we wanted it. 16 minute walk to pub street and a tuk-tuk ride back. Being a pool owner myself, keeping the pool clear with fluctuating heat and then the odd downpour of rainy season rain can’t be an easy job and it wasn’t just as clear as it could be, but they were doing okay. We certainly appreciated a dip after long hot days Wat climbing. Breakfast options are okay, but the fruit platter could have been replenished and wasn’t so a couple of mornings we didn’t get any as the table before us sort of emptied it. We ordered 8 breakfasts in the four nights we were there and they got 6 correct. Reception staff are always there to offer help and did a pretty good job of helping us sort some travel options and organised a massage in the hotel spa. Three times they came to the room to provide further information or provide the answers to what we were looking for. We think the location is good and the pool is a highlight for the hot Angkor Wat discovering days. Because we stayed four nights and probably at a quieter time of year, the hotel threw in free airport shuttle via tuk-tuk and a free evening meal set for both of us.
