This place is fantastic. From the booking to the tut tut pickup (complimentary, who I used as my guide for the duration of my stay, can't remember his name, (also works the reception at night) but a true gent and gem) The manager Driese and Liam were great. I chatted for ages with Driese and he gave me advice and... More

Accommodation - air-conditioned, comfy clean beds, towels and linen provided, lockers with no lock, bring your own. Staff - very friendly and very helpful, hostel has its own tuk tuk drivers. Got to know one of the drivers very well. Taught us a lot of history and he wanted to learn from us as well. Restaurant/bar - awesome food and... More

The hostel is okay but definitely not worth the price. The bathroom was quite dirty when we arrived. The rooms have air conditioning but being on a top bunk no fan or cold air goes in you direction so it is still very hot. Everything offered from the hostel in terms of tours and busses are significantly more expensive than... More

Well, I guess we're not for everyone. The bathroom in your dorm room was dirty when you arrived at 10pm? How was it after that, particularly at midday & 7pm after housekeeping had cleaned? Air Con not cold enough for you? Who'd you tell? We have 24 hour reception & western management on site all day & evening ready to... More

This hostel is amazing! The staff are super helpful, polite and speak good English. I stayed in a private room which had heaps of room and was always clean. The restaurant and bar are also pretty good, it is cheap but good quality. My favourite part is that it is so close to the cents of town and they also... More

I'd recommend this place. The dorms were clean, and the hostel is going above and beyond to make it a good experience for travelers by including nightly movie screenings, a large pool, and attentive bar. They are also providing a lot of opportunities for locals to learn the hospitality trade -- I am impressed by that! The staff helps book... More

Hi. Thanks for the review & the positive things you say. We're glad you enjoyed your stay with us. As for your complaints: for the record, the bar closes at 11.30pm but the night generally winds down before that, guests preferring to move on to Pub St with their new friends or get a good nights rest. There was a... More

This is one of the best hostel in Asia. Very friendly environment, The hostel is in great condition. Free pick up from the airport. It is the perfect place for solo travelers, as the staff is very helpful, and gave me plenty of advice on the local shops, restaurants and things to experience. It is a really good place to meet... I stayed at this hostel for one night and then returned again and stayed for three nights. It's good for a solo traveller as it's got lots of social areas and it's easy to arrange tours and buses. It has a nice buffet breakfast for 2$ and happy hour beers. The location is a bit far from the centre which... More

The level of cleanliness, 24/7 support, and dedicated staff, it's almost unfair to call this place a hostel. Even a free pick up from the airport and they have really awesome group tours. EVERYTHING is accessible here and if they don't know they will find out for you. Pro tip have a water bottle to refill because the refills are... More

My friend and I stayed here for several nights and we were so glad we did. The hostel was very clean and safe and the reception was so helpful and organized tours for us. The pool was lovely to relax in and the bar food and drinks were delicious. Would definitely recommend.

The hostel was kept in great condition and the staff were really friendly. The location was really good too with only a 10 minute walk to the main town centre and the free airport pick up was a bonus. I like the fact that this hostel really cared about their staff and sought to help them out. The only one... More
