Detailed Reviews
An unexpected upgrade to the Privilege Floor meant I had a fabulous room. Our executive staff- especially Kanika- were so friendly – they addressed me by name every time they saw me and seemed to be more up to date on what we as a group were doing. The pool was great and frequently quiet which suited me – took me a while to realise that the towels on the loungers had been placed there by staff to help the guests and were not just reserved by other guests who had then disappeared. Meals were great – and the range at breakfast extensive. Would love to make a return visit.

Overall this is a nice property with good rooms and a lovely pool. It’s located on the main highway, not walking distance to town but it is easy enough to hire Tuk Tuks to get around.
The staff are super friendly. Service can be slow at times and is not five star, you often have to chase staff down to get what you need. But this is pretty standard for Cambodia.
Upon check in I paid for the room, and then was taken to the room and informed that in fact the pool would be closed for two days while a private event was held. It looked like a wedding, they had built a stage over the pool. On my second night there was some very loud music from the band so I made myself scarce. It didn’t end up being a problem for me BUT I don’t think that it is good form for a hotel to place such inconvenience on paying guests and closing the pool. If I had known at the time of booking I would have booked elsewhere.
Rooms are very nice and comfortable. Bed was great, no complaints about sleep quality. Rooms overlook the pool but you can’t open the doors to the balcony without risking a mosquito invasion. To be fair they did warn me so I did not open the doors.
This hotel unfortunately has issues with mosquitoes. This is my sixth visit to Siem Reap and I’ve always stayed in different hotels and I’ve never seen this many before. They are everywhere around the ground floor of the building and swarm inside the restaurant. Since it’s the dry season in Cambodia I can only guess they are breeding in some stagnant water on the property or nearby. They didn’t bother me very much but my friend was bitten on her eyelid, resulting in a grotesquely swollen eye. Just be aware and armed with repellent!!
The food served from the a la carte and room service menu is good. We only tried the Cambodian food, not the western food. The breakfast buffet is adequate with some issues. Table settings are erratic and during busy times many dirty tables were left for quite a while. Food was often cold and danishes/pastries were stale. On the last morning I took a fruit danish which was growing green mould on it. Yuck! It can be tricky to get coffee, you have to flag a staff member down.
Overall this is a good hotel with some fairly minor issues. I probably will look for somewhere else to stay next time I’m in Siem Reap.

We landed at the Siem Reap International airport and we were greeted by the Hotel Lotus Blanc team and we had our transfer to the hotel.
Very warm welcome by the Front Office Team.
Our Landmark rooms are located on the private floor, this room type offers free airport transfers on arrival and departure, dayly breakfast included, the garden view is absolutely amazing.
An unique experience in this great luxury hotel.
Thankyou very much to all the team of the Lotus Blanc for this great time in Siem Reap

We stayed here in mid January having read all the fantastic reviews. On arrival we met a lovely gentleman called Nak who told us he would be looking after us during our stay on The Privilege Floor. We paid for the room in cash and then we were taken to our room which was nice. However our arrival was soon to be spoilt by a letter that was left on our bed that read 'Dear Valued Residents, kindly be informed that our swimming pool wil be closed for 2 days etc for a private event' given we were only staying 4 days so to have no access to all facilities when we had chosen to stay in a hotel with a pool left us feeling.. well 'unvalued'.
We asked to see a manager as we did not want to be placated by a half price spa treatment.
The noise from the pool area was significant given the amount of setting up needed for a large event of this type. We explained to the manager, Jackie that we were not happy and wanted to know what they could do for us. At some point during the conversation he arrogantly raised his hand to us to stop us from talking. We were told we could be transported to another hotel to use their pool, believe me when you have spent a day wandering temples in the heat travelling to another hotel in the afternoon is really not an option we wanted to consider. He then offered to move us to their sister hotel but we were told at present it was fully booked and would not be available for 2 days. So we agreed that although it would mean packing and moving we would prefer that option. We felt this was for the best and were relieved. This would have been the end of the matter however on going down to breakfast the next morning I went to sit at a table by the window and was told by a waiter I could not' sit there' as they would shortly be setting up a buffet - there were still others sat having breakfast by the windows. This just infuriated me and I could not wait to pack and leave. We were not the only people that day moving hotel. The management assured us everthing was fine about the move and there would be no extra costs.
When we arrived at Borei Angkor we felt very welcomed and had a wonderful 2 days in the sister hotel, although I was presented with a bill for 2 days stay on checkout I explained the situation calmly which makes me wonder whether the handover had been done correctly.
On reflection the Borei Angkor is a far superior hotel.

Siem Reap has many 5 star hotels to choose from so it wasn’t an easy choice to make, without any prior knowledge of the city, which one to choose from. Luckily, having read some of the reviews online, we opted for a stylish Privilege Floor by Lotus Blanc.
From the very first moment of being greeted at the airport by the hotel staff we knew we made the right choice. Ken, our assistant, very gladly helped us curate a perfect stay in Siem Reap. Although we knew what we wanted to do, he helped us arrange it so we could maximise our time out and about as well as our relaxing lounging by their wonderful pool.
We also attended the annual Christmas Eve gala. Hosted in one of the group’s three hotels, it’s an event the hotel staff are very proud of. As well as typical Christmas food we got to taste some local delicacies too while being entertained by local artists! The party was great and the food was cooked to perfection. I even risked fresh oysters which were opened fresh in front of the anticipating guests.
The hotel itself is very well equipped. The 25 meter pool (pictures don’t do it justice) was a great way to relax after a long day visiting temples. The gym is pretty small and if you’re into body building you won’t find anything heavier than 14kg dumbbells, but if you’re happy with the running and rowing machines, they’re pretty new and are overlooking the garden.
There are two bars, one at the pool and one at the lobby. Both serve interesting and delicious cocktails and beers. Try the white lotus martini! New favourite.
Breakfast buffet has a lot to offer, including on the spot made poached eggs and crepes.
Above all I am recommending this hotel for the outstanding, world class customer service. Ken and his team made sure our stay at the hotel was one to remember and we are looking forward to coming back in the near future.

Spent 2 nights on the privilege floor of the Lotus Blanc. Location is just fine, even though a little out of the main downtown area. Tuk tuks plentiful, reliable and cheap. We chartered one for 4 hours for a mornings visit to the Apopo project and a multitude of shopping locations in town; cost was $20 including tip. Staff dedicated to privilege floor clients are very attentive and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Only criticism is that whilst the pool is a real feature and very large, it is actually a disappointment to find that for a lot of its length the depth is very shallow and the level of added chemical meant swimming without goggles very difficult - but hey you don’t come to Siem Reap for water sports after all 😁

My Partner and recently spent two nights in Siem Reap at THE PRIVILEGE FLOOR by Lotus Blanc. Throughout our stay, Ken and his team went out of their way to make our experience memorable (arranging transportation, providing excellent local suggestions), Ken even assisted with an urgent business related need during our stay which was critical at the moment.
As in much of Siem Reap, one should wear appropriate mosquito repellent in this area. The pool was fantastic after the heat of the temples.
Tuk-tuks to downtown, Pub street etc were only $1-$2 via the Grab App. Transportation to/from the airport was very convenient.
Overall we would highly recommend.

We spent 2 nights in the Hotel and got upgraded to the privilege floor.
The whole Team and especially Ken, tented to our every needs and made our stay very special and pleasant.
We have never experienced a better service in a Hotel before.
On top of the extraordinary service, our room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast left no wishes unfulfilled.
On our departure day, they even let us use a room and the hotel facilities, like the Pool, again after checkout free of charge.
We can highly recommend staying at the Lotus Blanc when visiting Cambodia. We will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Linda, the woman from the reception, was smiling everyday. The pool is clean, the breakfast lovely and the rooms are big.
The location is not directly in the city, but a TukTuk will bring you fast (5minutes 1,50USD) to every stop.
Thanks to everyone in the hotel.
