The Sokkhak Boutique is a beautiful, nice little boutique resort with tropical garden setting and salt water pool. The staff here is amazingly friendly, attentive , kind and were genuinely interested in doing everything they could to make sure our stay was the best it could be. Lee, Tina & their staff, our guide, taxi and our tuk tuk drivers were extra special. Beautiful, relaxing accommodation at a reasonable price. We left feeling we had been extremely well looked after and we have never stayed in a hotel where several of the staff came to wave and say goodbye as we left. Thoroughly recommend. Thank you!!

The most hospitable staff I have ever experienced in 25 years of my travel across the globe. The resort is well designed and wonderfully maintained. Besides being very courteous, the staff are forever smiling and willing to help. They go out of their way to make you feel at home.

Room was beautiful! Saltwater pool was a nice retreat after a long day of walking around the city. Service was over the top generous, kind. Ly, Tina, Muert, Sunny, everyone else who worked there were present and helped us with all our questions and requests- Muert went all the way to other markets to help get us change for US dollars. Everyday after coming home from a hot long hike, we were greeted with cold pandan tea and wet face towel to cool us off. Ly took the time during meals to talk with us, share about the community, gave us tips and recs of where to eat and visit. All of them were so responsive to issues- One morning, we woke up with a few mosquito bites (to be expected in Cambodia) and asked if there were any remedies we could use. They told us they would let the folks who cleaned our rooms know and get the issue resolved. That night we had no more mosquito issues! They also helped us with most of our tour guide reservations and transport reservations. The tuk tuk driver Sopheak and car driver Broi who worked w the hotel were also helpful- always on time and provided us with water and conversation! They were very attentive when we were out, waiting for us to return and we never had trouble finding them again after a trip. The food that we had at their restaurant and at sister restaurant Chanrey Tree had some of the best Khmer food that we enjoyed on the trip - highly recommend giving them a try. What a gem we found in Siem reap- we’d 1000% recommend this place to everyone! …

Sokkhak is a lovely boutique hotel, nestled in a quiet area and surrounded by a tropical green garden. The team organized a free pick up and transfer to the airport with their hotel own TukTuk. The welcome was also very friendly and accommodating. All in all, the entire staff was very helpful and made us feel like home. We really liked the style of the hotel’s interior and exterior, it has a vintage flair and also many beautiful statues, decorations and flowers. First we enjoyed lunch at the restaurant, which was very delicious Khmer cuisine. Afterwards we started our first tour of the Angkor temples by TukTuk. Timing was always extremely flexible and up to us, which we enjoyed as well. The TukTuk was also available in the evening for restaurant transport. Regarding the accommodation, we booked the pool view suite because it was large, with special interior and a nice bathroom as well. The team had also decorated the bed with flowers for our anniversary, which was highly appreciated. Be aware though, that you will have to close the curtains all times, otherwise direct viewing into the room is possible. This was a bit disappointing, since we would have liked to enjoyed the sunlight and the view without everyone having full glance into the room. We noticed some points for improvement: unfortunately we experienced problems with the WiFi. At several times it was not working, or required multiple new logins. Normally this should not be a problem. The door of our room could not be sealed properly, there was a gap in between the door frame and the lock. One evening we noticed some small insects in the bathroom, the staff reacted very quickly and sent someone to solve the problem. In general, it might be advisable to use more mosquito coils and even a mosquito net, since insects can enter the room easily. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay!…

Lovely small hotel outside of the bustle of downtown (10min away by tuktuk). The team at the hotel couldn’t do enough in terms of service and we were given great advice based on our stay where and where not to go. The rooms were very nice (king bed) and very comfortable. We ate out most nights - once at a sister hotel with a rooftop bar/restaurant.

A beautiful, nice little boutique resort in a side alley therefore very quiet und a good sleep. The staff here is amazingly friendly and pays attention to every wish you might have. The sokkhak boutique is a wonderful haven. Attentive, kind and friendly staff. Luxurious rooms, fantastic pool and great restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble for Ly and the team. From the moment we arrived the staff was there to greet us and tend to our every need. The room was beautiful and clean. The entire resort just leaves you feeling relaxed and zen like. Absolutely the best choice for our stay! And so close to Pub Street!!
