Everything about this accommodation was fantastic. The setting of the apartments and their layout/spaciousness was ideal, the pool was gorgeous, breakfast was different each day and to such an incredibly high standard. The staff were outstandingly friendly even in a country where everyone is friendly and could not do enough for us. The trips they helped us arrange were tailored to our needs, helped us see all we could and were not at all over priced. I cant imagine anyone finding something negative to say about Image d'Angkor.

The hotel offers free pick up from the Airport, which is a short 15 minutes ride. It is a "Boutique" hotel, with only 3 over-sized units for guests. We were assigned with two units for our group, but actually one unit would do for us comfortably already. The facilities are generally very clean and properly maintained. It may be family run, as the manager is always attentive and offers for helps wherever he can. Like the morning we left by 4:30 AM to catch sunrise at Angkor Wat, he pre-packed our breakfast for us. The next two mornings he prepared different breakfast items for us. The service from the hotel is personal and accommodating, though not exactly concierge service but close Although the hotel is a bit far from the downtown area, you can easily get there by tuk tuk for $3 USD. Like most other hotels, you will need to pay $10 USD for the hotel to airport shuttle.

1. Personalized service like delicious breakfast and dinner(cooked by the boss Nith Nimol, different breakfast everyday (western, Asian type, you name it), very yummy salad, rice and soup in one dinner which we asked the boss to prepare for us. Both breakfast and dinner were served course by course) and outstanding tour arrangement with reasonable price and reliable driver (Nimatel Nith, caring and sensible, very patient to wait for us to see sunset and sunrise). 2. Large room with spectacular pool view. 3. Quiet and elegant. 4. Friendly and helpful staff.(Yeang and Yen are very helpful ) We have a wonderful journey, very recommended

This is one of the most memoable hotel stay experience I have had. We took our 80+ year old parents to visit Angkor wat for 4 nights. We booked the whole villa (2 upstairs bedrooms and 2 identical bedrooms down stairs). The villa may be rated as 3.5 star but the service we received were way above 5 star. I sensed their sincerity and honesty so I asked them to design our tour and take care all of our transport needs during our stay. The breakfast offering was so magnificant, I ended up asking them to provide us dinner as well. Which they did in spetacular settings but with the cost no more than what you normally pay in the restaurants. The driver and the van they provided were also superb. The hotel and the driver coordinated our schedule everyday, making it a really private and luxurious experience. I highly recommend to let them organise everything. You would not regret it. The villa is hidden in a suburb between the city and Angkor wat. I explored the surroundings and the life of the people living in the suburb on foot everyday after tours. It was a lot more interesting than staying in the city. However you do require tuk tuk if you need to go to the city centre. This is the first time I felt sad to leave a hotel and the people running the hotel.

I hate it when I have to write a bad review. It is not a complaint, instead I would like this to be a point for an improvement of hotel services. The good thing about this hotel is, there are not many rooms and some of the staffs are very friendly and smiley. Now the issues: Firstly, my family and I booked a heritage family room which I believe it is a two bedroom suite with a wooden and traditional decoration. However, once we got there, we were assigned into a standard two bedroom suite so I ask the manager this is not what I had paid for and request to have the room I originally booked. He then moved my family and I to our meant to be room at 5 PM. And when the room was ready as he said, it was so dirty, filled with dust and guess what cockroaches lay dead on the floor. The A/Cs were working no different from wind that blow out from fans. Next, there was no free shuttle bus to the center as the hotel claims on the website. We had no choices at the hotel located far off from the center so we have to pay USD 6 round trip every time we want to go dinner or visit the town. WI-FI, we were unable to connect it for a day because the hotel staff said there was the maintenance going on in Siem Reap and there will be no connection until the checked-out day. Alright, it was understandable, but when we go to a restaurant, the internet seems to work just fine. Asking for room services, there was no room service available in the hotel. When we called the reception, he replied no food, go outside. Okey Lastly, free shuttle to the airport, it comes with the additional charge of USD 10 if we would like to take a car. I do not know what else to say other than we were disappointed.

We LOVED our stay here. Nith and his onsite staff were so friendly and enjoyable they helped make the entire trip for us. There were 4 of us and the villa itself is two floors with two entrances, each with a king bed and two twins in separate rooms (no doors). It’s extremely clean and the AC, WiFi, and shower all worked well. The pool is amazing and truly feels like a serene escape from the craziness of Siem Reap. What makes this place extra special, though, is the staff. They helped coordinate tuk tuks, lunch deliveries, and can set up your tours of Angkor Wat, as well. We had an outside guide for that, but were given the option through the villa as well. We would recommend this place to anyone and everyone traveling to Siem Reap!

Definitely the place to stay! We decided to stay at the hotel due to its homey feel and the rooms look more traditional than other hotels in the area with very reasonable cost. We had a very relaxing time, spending 3 nights at the hotel. The rooms were very spacious, with private baths. They provided complimentary bottles of water each day, which is very nice. The hotel's breakfast is excellent, one of the best we've had as far as hotel breakfast goes. We like that they serve different breakfast every day. The staff, Mr. Nimol and Mr. Lake, were very accommodating. We brought in food for dinner every night, and they were kind enough to heat up our meals and assist us in cleaning up. The only downside is that it is far from the city center. But it is well worth it. We arranged for private van with driver and guide, so the location is not a problem for us. All in all, this is an amazing place to stay, a home away from home!
