We stayed 3 night at Apsara Greenland Boutique Hotel we had a great time there.

The place supports the local community by employing young locals and giving them the chance to learn hospitality skills. Besides, they try to be more eco-friendly and reduce waste and contamination by not using plastic bottles and other measures. That's why the ambience is so calm and pleasant.

Our room was a Junior Suite with Balcony. It was very comfortable, very clean and tidy, cozy and spacious. We had room service every day.  The balcony is a perfect place to chill out and drink a coffee.

Outside area is full of trees and plants which gives the feeling of being in the nature, just next to the swimming pool, restaurant and bar area.

You have the chance to have a drink or meal sitting down next to the swimming pool.

You have three choices of breakfast included, such us: Continental, American or Asian. Everyone comes with coffee or tea and a selection of fresh fruit.

Free drinking water all day long at the reception.

If you want to relax in Siem Reap, don't miss this place

We are so happy to having stayed at Apsara Greenland. It's a very cool place where you can relax and enjoy all the facilities. They are supporting eco-friendly policies by not using plastic bottles. You can refill water as many time as you wish from the dispenser at the reception.

All staff are very nice and friendly. They all speak very good English.

Room was very beautiful, clean and comfortable. Complementary jug, tea and coffee.

The bar and restaurant are next to the swimming pool. So you can have a drink or meal while relaxing.

It's really good place and is it not expensive at all.

5 might stay. Only a 15 min walk or 5 min tuk tuk into town but a very tranquil and peaceful location. Simple clean rooms with an OK shower but very comfy bed. Great friendly and attentive staff. Good breakfast and great value. Overall a great little place to stay!

This rating has nothing to do with the kindness and service. They were very kind to us and served us well.

However the property was outdated and didn't look like the pictures showed on the website. It really needs maintenance.

We also were really disappointed by the room. We booked a villa with private pool. Well basically, we had two rooms with two different room numbers. No connection to each other. To go to the other room, we had to go outside... That is not a villa.

Also the mattresses were lying on a floor, not what we call a comfortable bed. They were hard, we woke up with a back ache. The shower is awful. In one room, the whole bathroom floor was totally wet, in the other room the shower was hanging too low, you couldn't wash your hair properly.

Since we didn't sleep well, we therefore decided to leave earlier and go to another hotel.

The property has definitely a lot of potential, however there is a lot of work to do!

Great friendly staff and unique Cambodian feature rooms. It is quiet and peaceful, the staff can’t help you enough and the rooms are spacious and a cultural experience. Recommend trying the Cambodian Fish Amok, the chef makes a great one. They can arrange whatever you need, just kindly ask.

Very good hotel with excellent staff, who go out of their way to help you. Lovely pool to cool off in after a day out visiting the many sights. Plus the cocktails made at the bar were superb. Lovely and tranquil hotel to stay at. Not a 5* review but my opinion was the room could do with updating.

We spent 5 nights here in March. Everything was fabulous: the rooms, pool, service.... The service is absolutely flawless and super polite. Would definitely come here again if ever in Siem Reap again :) The hotel has its own charm for being 2km away from the city area, it's nice and peaceful area and the surroundings are truly the real Siem Reap and not so turisty. Hotel's free tuktuk rides to the town are awesome.

If I have to give some critisism it is the fact that the breakfast is always the same. Even though you can choose your breakfast from different styles of food from the breakfast menu, the menu is a little bit short for a longer stay and you get bored with the food. Still got to say the Kuy taev soup they have takes you to another world with it's deliciousness!!

Another tiny con are the high prices. You get a smoothie/fruitie/beer from the town area for $0,5 - 1,0. In the hotel you get to pay at least 4-5 dollars for those. The food is expensive too.

Other than that the hotel is pretty, service is the best I've ever had and its a place where to relax after a hot and exhausting day at the temples.

Let me start by stating what may be the obvious; the hotel is not perfect and I would not give that impression.
Let's start with the positives, and much of this review will be reiterating previously stated ones.
The staff are uniformly excellent both in their attitude, their professionalism and in their warmth. It is the key as to why I award 5 stars.
The rooms are fairly quirky, especially the way that the baths are actually concrete, but that also makes them rather charming.
The cookery course was awesome according to my 10 year old daughter! Chef took her to the market to choose the ingredients, then taught her how to prep the food and finally how to cook it. It was then served to us and was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. A 'must book' for budding chefs, 25 dollars and the food is enough for 2 adults and a child and tremendous quality.
The free tuk-tuks are perfect for getting you into town in no time- 10 minutes. The location gives you the serenity that you simply can't get in town.
Room for improvement:
Western breakfast is okay, not special in any way. I would recommend the local breakfast as being much better and certainly more interesting.
The hot water supply is indeed sporadic, sometimes freezing, sometimes boiling.
Another point to note is that the private pool attached to room 107 where we stayed looks great, overhanging shrubs over the water- but these same shrubs prevent the sunlight from reaching and heating the water, so it's very cold!
I always give honest reviews, so will conclude by saying that I feel somewhat guilty as I write this as the staff were just amazing- bringing a birthday cake to my room and singing 'Happy Birthday' to me even-so, my recommendation is that if you're not super fussy about breakfast and constant hot water, then do stay, you will be made so welcome that you feel like you are staying with a family who've known you for years!
I know that the management are serious about raising the bar even higher- I will stay again, and expect that it will be even better next time.

Very nice property a few minutes away from hectic Siem Reap. Free tuktuk service very much appreciated.

Great service, very helpful to organize tours at competitive prices.

Better than average breakfast: good products and fast service.

I will come back to this hotel next time I visit Cambodia.
