I love the philosophy behind Sala Bai, and the training of young Cambodians in the hospital industry. They have moved location since I last stayed back in 2014. I loved the architectural design of the new place, and the grounds were beautiful. The bed was also extremely comfortable (one of the best to date in my Asia travels). I also... More

We stayed one night in the "Sala Bai Suite" after having enjoyed a truly wonderful lunch. The new school (opened late 2015) is 4-5 minutes 'off' busy Siem Reap center south along the river. An exceptional human size facility for the intended vocational training program which in itself is a wonder. You see it all - classrooms, glassed kitchen workshop,... More

Had lunch there on March 18th 2016. Very nice place, good food (either western or Khmer), friendly trainees for service and very low price. I'll be back some day and strongly recommend to whoever happens to stay in Siem Reap.

Regardless of the humanitarian mission of this NGO school which is providing free education and free boarding to young underpriviliged cambodians, staying at this hotel is a real pleasure and a great experience. Service from students is fantastic and very keen, even though their english is sometimes hesitant and their attitude a bit shy . Lunch was also great... shame... More

This place is a lovely initiative to train up locals from disadvantaged families to give them a better chance for their future. Food wise it was very tasty and well presented, with but western and Cambodian options. The staff are very friendly and keen to please. You may have to be a little patient with your order but it is... More

Restaurant:Excellent food. You will not notice this is a school from the food. You will possibly notice it on the service: much more personal, with students doing their best (and more) to do it right. possibly with some minor hesitation, making the experience even more charming.
