We arrived at night to Palm Village, so the bumpy ride on a tuktuk felt a bit long from the other side of the city, but it was well worth it! The cottages are nice and simple, the bathrooms ok (our's had a bit of problems a with hot water) but the setting is incredible in the middle of an...

We stayed at the Palm Village resort over the New Years Holiday, staying for 2 nights. It's quite far from the city center, but I think in Siem Reap, this was more a plus than a minus. The back road getting there is bumpy, but as far as I could tell, it's one of the closest hotels to Angkor (wat,...

The Palm Village Resort outside of Siem Reap is a fantastic place to stay when visiting. The hotel is located a bit outside of town but the town of Siem Reap is easily accessed by tuk tuk or cab arranged by the always helpful front desk staff. The accommodations consist of wooden cabins arranged along a beautiful foot path. Beds...

We enjoyed the peace and calm at Palm Village. The bungalows were comfortable and clean and surrounded by trees and flowers. The complimentary breakfast was very good and the table was very pretty with a fresh flower at each place setting. The staff were helpful and friendly. It is situated a little ways out of town but tuk tuks were...

We have just had four nights at Palm Village, Siem Reap. It is a safe, clean and quiet property a short distance (10 min by car or tuk-tuk) from town - but very close to Angkor Wat and other temple sites. With around 15 detached bungalows (with an air-conditioned living-bedroom and clean western bathroom attached in each), it is quite...

I stayed here with a friend in November and absolutely loved it. Yes, its a little rustic, yes it could use a little maintenance, yes its a little out of town but... its $39 a night! Be reasonable people. After reading some of these reviews it seems people want 5 star service from 3 star hotel. Someone complained that the...

We choosed Palm Village for nearly one week concerning the mostly very good Tripadvisor Reviews and because it's one of the rare Boutique Hotels in Siem Reap. Still convinced that Palm Village is definitely one of the better options in 'comission city', but overall standing is to high. After several booking requests via phone and email without confirmation happily we...

We arrived at the Palm Village Resort with 2 friends having reserved ahead. We knew that we would have to have a fan room for one night and then swap to air con for the 2nd two nights, whilst we let our friends take the air con for 3 nights. This was not a problem to us - that is...

After the hustle and bustle of the temples and Siem Reap town, the Palm Village is an absolute haven. In between the town and the temples, it is far enough away to relax and enjoy a little luxury, and all at a very good price. Enjoy breakfast on your own veranda, in front of your own little log cabin, swim...

I chose to stay at the Palm Village for the last few days of my ten day visit to Siem Reap for a few days of absolute peace and quiet and some serious pool time. I loved the rustic nature of the somewhat rough-around-the-edges (don't expect luxury standard) yet comfortable wooden bungalow and the grounds and pool are very nice....
