We loved the property because we felt like we were in the jungle. The food was delicious, the breakfast was excellent as well. You can pre-order your meals if you like. That worked well for us a couple of times. The rooms are nice with a mini fridge and a small area out front with two comfortable chairs over looking the pool area. We were in C5. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is about 15 minutes into town with a tuk tuk so really not that bad. Location is excellent for Angkor Wat to get an early start.

The place could use some general maintenance on the walkways & around the pool. And there are 6-7 small dogs around that like to bark. (One review said the dogs had fleas and got bites. That could have been from mosquitos. We never got flea bites, but definitely mosquitos.) There may be some noise from surrounding properties. One morning there was loud music that started up at 7:00 a.m. (out of their control) . Overall though, definitely recommend!

Palm village resort was a great spot from which to explore Angkor. It is situated a little way outside of Siam Riep which suited us perfectly as it was quiet and away from the backpacker party vibe. The Staff are very friendly and always willing to help, they arranged our tuk tuk to transport us around the temples and our taxi to both the airport and Kulen Mountain.

The menu is varied and very tasty with options for everyone.
The rooms are simple and clean with good bathrooms.
The matriarch of the family creates some beautiful clothing using local patterns and designs, for really good prices.

The highlight is the beautiful swimming pool surrounded by a tranquil garden, was most welcome to relax in each afternoon with a cold beer after a long day in the dry heat of Angkor’s amazing temples.

There didn’t seem to be a spa though

After 2 weeks of a hectic schedule we got to Cambodia. Palm Village has allowed us time to unwind. The pool is the best pool that I have experienced both size and temperature. The location in the suburbs is absolutely brilliant as we were able to avoid the noise of Siem Reap and visit the Temples in our own time with transport arranged via the hotel. We picked up a guide at the temples who stayed with us for the day.
The rooms are quirky but very comfortable with large beds excellent AC and fridge. The bathrooms are amazing as is the bath.
We decided to just chill here and the service and food felt like 5 star.

This place is a magical slice of heaven. I’d been on a 4 -day organised group tour to see the temples and decided I would like to stay in Siem Reap for some R&R and this place did not disappoint.

It is peaceful and the bungalows are superb. The Aircon means they are lovely and cool. The pool is stunning and I mostly had it to myself as people were out during the day.

I walked out to some local roadside stalls to buy fruit, water and fruit juice, and also stumbled on a place called Theam Gallery - all within a 5 to 10 minute stroll from the hotel.

If you download the grab app, you can book a Tuk Tuk for about $2 into town, which is around 2 miles away. Drivers arrives within a couple of minutes.

Breakfast choices were basic, but I have no complaints. You have to try the freshly squeezed pineapple juice here it is delicious!

I had a massage and I also booked in for a private yoga class which was lovely

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. We had a nice bamboo cabin, simple but everything we needed was there, included shower and toilet. The big swimming pool is surrounded with beautiful plants and trees, so that you can enjoy the birds´sound and the butterflies flying around while swimming in the water. The meals in the restaurant were tasty. We had a very nice massage lasting one hour. The ladies doing massage are very good in their job. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with everything we needed. The best part of this hotel compared with a hotel in town, is the quit location, located in the jungle but still rather close to the village. A tuk tuk can bring you to the town in 10 minutes.

I have stayed at Palm Village many times over 15 years. It now feels like my home away from home. The owner and staff are wonderfully kind. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is a relief from the heat. Be sure to take a few meals at the restaurant - the food is delicious and you'll develop a taste for Khmer flavours.

This is one of my favorite places in Siem Reap. I have previously stayed here in one of the cottages. I came here for a day of r&r by the pool. The owner organized a blind masseuse to come and give me a great massage. Had lunch by the pool. Great service, thank you.

Very quiet resort with an outdoor pool that is small but enough to cool off in, rooms are unique and a lovely place to stay, food and staff great. But there's 8 dogs of their own and loads of cats that go wandering around and they've got fleas so sitting outside your room means you are dinner we were covered in bites and three Americans staying at the same time had the same problem. I've not rated this place higher because of this

If you want a time to relax away from the hustle and bustling town, this is the place to come and chill.
We could have enjoyed more time here without leaving this quaint resort. Pool was amazing and we were the only ones who enjoyed during our 3 days.
Transport always organised swiftly by the hotel and nothing ever too much trouble. 2 vegetarians and a carnivore well catered for!! Super friendly and helpful staff.
