We chose Villa Loti based on tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed. The owners are helpful and give Villa Loti its special touch. In our case, it was finding an English speaking guide at short notice, unentangling some misunderstandings with a guide, and helping us to sample some of the great restaurants in walking distance. Breakfast was excellent and our...

Oh man, where do I begin? The dynamic duo behind Resort La Villa Loti, Margy and Pascal, were the most thoughtful, attentive hosts we stayed with on our trip. Not only were they super kind, welcoming, and accommodating, but they also went out of their way to make sure any questions you have about your stay with them and the...

I recently stayed at the Resort la Villa Loti with my partner. I can’t recommend it enough. Not only was the actual accommodation lovely (clean and comfortable –a bit of an oasis out of the heat and dust of Siem Reap), but the hosting and personal touch from the lovely couple that own and run the business was the main...

Dear Repelsteeltje. Greetings from Resort La Villa Loti. Thank you for taking tame to review us. I'm very glad you like my "bitterballen"; it started more or less as a joke, but most people don't know this typical Dutch snack and seem to like it. So "bitterballen" and "broodje kroket" are on the menu now. You were a lovely guest;...

We stayed 4 nights in this recently renovated hotel. Staff extremely friendly and thoughtful. Beautiful wooden rooms and lovely garden. Delicious and huge breakfast. Great tour available to discover the nearby village/the Tonle Sap and avoid the crowed. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing four nights at Villa Loti. Margy and Pascal go above and beyond and gave us excellent recommendations for our stay in Siem Reap. They helped book us on a fascinating day trip out to Lake Tonle Sap and into the more rural areas. We also enjoyed having Ng as our personal tuk-tuk driver. Highly recommended.

A very small resort, 8 rooms only, the owners make a point of making you feel at home. The hospitality was excellent and everyone bends over backwards to ensure you have everything you want and need. The rooms are kept very clean and are nice and cosy away from the hustle bustle outside.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The name of the resort comes from Pierre Loti a French man who lived from 1850 to 1923. As a child he had dreamt about visiting the ruins of Angkor when he came across illustrations of them belonging to his brother. In 1901 his dream came true when his ship stayed some time in Indochinese waters. Our hotel is an old Khmer building with two floors, 4 rooms on each floor. The two Deluxe rooms and the two suites each have a private terrace; in front of the 2 Deluxe rooms and the two Superior rooms on the first floor is a big balcony. After taking over in July 2015 the new owners renovated all the bathrooms and restyled the rooms and the restaurant. All rooms have air-conditioning, fan, mini bar, coffee and tea making facilities, hair dryer, safety box and free WIFI. The room rate includes: breakfast, complimentary bottled water and a fruit basket in the room and pick up service from the airport. ... more   less
