Our room are large and very comfortable if slightly worn. We liked the large wet room that was separate to the bath/WC. Breakfast wasn't very inspiring and we didn't eat there in the evenings ( why would you when Siem Reap town center is only a 5 minute tuk-tuk ride away?) There's a small rather polluted river that runs quite close to the hotel and there were times when we could smell it when using the pool. Not great but it wasn't continuous. Siem Reap town center can be a little rowdy at night so if, like us, you're not night owls and you enjoy a good nights rest staying here might well be a good option for you. On arrival we found that guests were being diverted to a nearby sister hotel. I can't recall the explanation given but it soon became clear that bookings were down due to initial COVID concerns and the plan was to save money by squeezing everyone into one hotel and closing the other. We were sympathetic to this but once we saw the packed poolside at the replacement hotel we and another couple stuck to our guns and said that we wanted to return to La Residence which we'd pre-booked. It would be stretching it somewhat to say that the hotel's response to this request was enthusiastic. Nevertheless our return was agreed with good grace. By the end of our short stay my wife and I were literally the only 2 guests in the entire hotel which I think was probably closed behind us as we left.

The staff at this hotel could not do enough for us. The evening we arrived, the restaurant was closed but they reopened it at 10:30 pm and cooked for us! We were blown away. When we first arrived, the hotel felt like a tropical oasis, we were mesmerised, although there were lots of Mosquitos (January) so bring your repellent!! Every request was met with the friendliest response, picnic breakfasts were packed for us if going sunrise sightseeing. The hotel is set in beautiful, tropical settings with lovely pool areas. The shower rooms could have slept an additional person! I've never seen shower rooms like it, fabulous!! Renovations that were underway will ensure this hotel really gains popularity as it becomes more widely known (Tuk Tuk drivers still getting very lost due to the relative newness of this hotel). One recommendation for the hotel would be to improve the breakfast. It was extremely basic, especially when we'd been a bit spoilt in Vietnamese hotels. The dinner menu was far more extensive, with the hot/sour soup being exceptional. This hotel is well worth a visit. It is central, quiet and close to the French Bakery and Tevy's place (restaurant) which is a must-visit in Siem Reap. A $2USD, 10 minute Tuk Tuk ride to Pub street or a leisurely 40-minute walk past markets and local attractions. Loved it here. Thanks so much :)

What a Lovely tranquil place. Has 2 swimming pools. 1 larger good for kids and fantastic long pool in the quiet area of the hotel, suitable for couples who are looking for rest after a good day visiting Ankor Wat. We had the pool most of our time to ourselves and enjoyed a drink a bite. Kitchen offers a nice menu card and afternoon snacks. Breakfast could have a bit more variety, we were missing ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, cucumber to put on the delicious bread. That would have made breakfast complete.
The egg station is a wonderful service, although the young servants do not always understand English. Nevertheless we strongly recommend the place.
Tip: install Grab app on your phone in Cambodia! We have taken the tuktuk many times. Just less than 1 dollar to pubstreet area.

The room was large but grubby, the wooden floor was badly scratched and the bathroom was dirty. When we went to breakfast the supposedly hot dishes were cold. There was building work on the floors above which created dust and noise. The tour guide stated" not sure why you have been booked in to this hotel, this is the first time our company has used this hotel, we usually put guests in better quality hotesl"

The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The staff are friendly, kind and very helpful.
May is low tourist season, but that did not in anyway lessen the service and care.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I would definitely stay here again.

A very warm welcome by the staff after complementary pickup from the airport. The room was spacious and clean looking out to the lovely pool, bathroom was large with rain shower as well as a deep bath tub. Stayed here in April, weather was very hot and humid, we cooled down in the pool after visits to temples and most of the time there are only two other guess using it at the same time. The hotel is about 15 to 20 minutes walk to the centre however you can go by Tuk tuk outside the hotel, it only cost 1 USD. The hotel is very quiet away from the chaos of the centre. Excellent helpful staff on the the front desk and restaurant. Good choice at breakfast, buffet as well as freshly cooked. Beautiful tropical plants all round the hotel which creates a lovely setting. If you like a hotel with quiet peaceful settings, this is the place to be.

Booked one night, extended to 2 then 3. Turned into 7 days.
This is the perfect stop whilst travelling as tranquil and stunning. The staff were always keen to answer questions and very helpful. Lovely and clean. If you are a cocktail lover then try the Long Island iced tea, very refreshing, and strong. A short walk to heart of the night life, or a one dollar tuk tuk ride. This is a peaceful hotel. Always people about to chat to if you wish but not crowded. So can be nice to sit back and read / rest.

I highly recommend it, will stay here again without hesitation.

What I wanted is to have good fee for hotel, to have pool to chill after hot day at temples and to have room that I will feel comfortable in. This place had everything, the price to airport by tuk tuk is 5$ price to Pub Street or other place in town is 1$. Only one negative thing was that we did have few cockroaches - ground floor room and yes you are in Cambodia... they allow us to late check out at 5pm for 0cost.. yes it was out of season, but still nice from them!!! absolute mega polite staff!!!

Very beautiful small hotel that quickly became our oasis from the crowds in Siem Reap and Angkor. The staff were wonderful and ensured we had everything we needed. Very new facility within a 10 minute walk, (or $1. tuk tuk ride) to pub street. Good food and gorgeous pool and very quiet. All of this for under $50, we highly recommend this place. There can be some confusion due to the fact they have a sister hotel a couple of blocks away, this confused our drivers more than once. Enjoy your stay here, cheer!

My husband & I recently spent 5 nights at this wonderful boutique hotel, while touring the temples. It was a ten minute walk to the main market area. We were delighted with our clean, quiet, spacious tropical room. Everything in the hotel was open air except our room. There was lush vegetation, orchids and water features throughout. Beautiful pool. The service was excellent. The restaurant food was healthy, delicious and the staff went out of their way to prepare vegetarian and vegan food for us. Everyone greeted us cheerfully and were consistently friendly and helpful during our entire stay. We highly recommend this delightful hotel!

It's approximately 25 mtrs pool in length and 8-10 mts wide. Decent enough for 6 guys to go for swim sprint.
