Cambodia the kingdom of wonder, a land of welcoming smiles, shown on more than two hundredfaces or Loksvaracarved on to the towers of the Bayon Temple in Angkor Thom, depicting the Buddhist ideal of compassion. We invite you to experience the ‘smile of Bayon’ in our Bayon Boutique. Our experienced team of young enthusiastic staff will leave you with a memory of warmth and sincerity making your stay in Siem Reap a joyful experience and The Bayon Boutique a home away from home. Situated in the center of Siem Reap, an easy walk to the restaurants and bars of Pub Street and The Old Market or Psa Cha, The Bayon Boutique is a cool oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle. Cross the causeway into our resort through lush vegetation and walls adorned with flowering orchids, spy the salt water swimming pool, revive with a cold drink in The Victory Gate Restaurant & Bar, take a tantalizing glimpse of our unique gallery or retreat and relax with a massage in your spacious room.

Stayed many many times on and off through COVID. $15-20 for a superior room is a good deal. Large bed, twin sinks, good shower with hot water, lounge area in the room. Balcony and a good pool with loungers. 2 mins from Pub Street area. Quite location. Just badly needs black out curtains

Even though we had an okay stay at this hotel (despite one cockroach, no towel change and smelly room), there is a reason why we decided to share this ‘bad’ review which we normally don’t do. We booked a tour to the temples through the hotel - absolutely amazing and well organised, so you should do that also. Nevertheless, this specific driver ran over a dog while we were in the tuk tuk and he didn’t even break or move or stopped to see how the dog was doing or how we were doing after a traumatic experience like that. The tuk tuk was only driving 40 km/h and did see the dog coming , he even honked 1 time at it. My husband was on the left side and saw the dog turn around the wheel etc. so imagine how we felt afterwards. We wanted to talk to him about it but he pretended he didn’t understand us. Therefore, if you book a tuk tuk to the temples and want to make sure you have a good driver, ask for Mr Cham (We had him the second day and he was the best!) or use this incident as an example to drivers to remind them to slow down and break for dogs crossing the road! Especially with tourist in the back...

Attention to detail lacking by "some" staff, starting with a no show from the airport driver, after confirming the day before. On exit, he was not there, I phoned the hotel and after I had been outside around 40 minutes, he appeared....Welcome drink, was not offered on arrival, food, drink and spa discounts, also not mentioned. (all part of booking package) Breakfast barely adequate, for 2 of my 5 days, no juice of any type were available. One morning, the staff member taking orders, forgot to place my order, after 30 minutes, I asked what was happening? Answer was, he ordered the wrong thing, fact was, he ordered nothing. Worse still it was quiet, two people finishing and two ordered after me. Same staff member spilled a full cup of tea on my table the following day...On a positive note, the place is well located and the room was nice. Housekeeping did an excellent job servicing the room quite early each day, which suited me. I did not ask them to do this as a special request. In summary, I "may" stay there again but not as first choice in the area....
