If you want a beautiful, friendly welcome back each day and a quick trip to the old markets, then this is your venue. The staff at this hotel go above and beyond to make the experience one of great quality.
Our rooms were serviced each day with fresh bottled water and towels. The rooms were very spacious and the air conditioning worked well.
The beds are on the harder side, and the pillows were incredible to ensure a great sleep.
We loved spending time at the rooftop pool which has outdoor showers and undercover seating for comfort at any time of day.
There is a lovely cafe beside the hotel for your morning coffees, and the markets are only a short walk away where you can find any food you could want. After this, there is also Pub Street within walking distance. There are also laundry services all around with a 1 day turn around for $1 per kilo.

I have stayed here twice with large groups. Each time the service and facilities have been outstanding. The rooms are generously sized and the air con is crisp. The rooftop pool is fantastic with lovely sunbeds and shelters. The view from the top is perfection. One of my most treasured memories in life is swimming in this rooftop pool under a full moon. Amazing. Breakfasts had a large range of options and staff were always friendly and helpful. Travel was in 2018 and 2019 (both September).

Situated right in the middle of Siem Reap this lovely hotel is only a few minutes away from Downtown, Museums, shops and nearby restaurants and snack bars. The service levels are outstanding . Young staff are attentive , courteous and well trained and are a credit to the management . Rooms are spotless and cleaned promptly in the mornings. Breakfast is from 6am for those early getaways or still available at 9.30 for returning from the dawn trip to Angkor Wat . Then there is the pool on the roof ! Wow ! a great place to cool off after sight seeing and have drinks at. Moderately priced it’s great value with a five star feel . Well done !

We stayed at the City River hotel for 3 nights. On arrival, we were greeted by the loveliest staff member. She was incredibly sweet and very welcoming and the young lady that was with her give us a fresh cup of water and attempted to give us a cold face washer, but they were frozen together (which was fine, we all just laughed). The lady at reception advised us that our room had been upgraded, but on arrival in our room, it was clear that it was very dated, had no balcony (was advised it would have) and NO TV! Very weird. Only one of the 2 lifts worked. I popped down to reception to ask if we could have a TV, and she said that she would try and organise one for us. After approx 45 mins, my sister went down and asked if we could pay extra to have the balcony room we were promised and a TV. Credit to them, they did change rooms for us to a balcony room (very small balcony and no furniture on us, and it looked out to the apartments across the road) and organised a TV for us to be delivered to our new room. Once we were in the new room, the TV didn't work, so I went back down (as the phone didn't work at all) and was greeted by a man that didn't really understand english very well but I got the message through and he came up to the room with me and turned it on manually and advised that the TV was only internet, and there was no TV as such (brochures stated there was TV's that we could watch actual television show on), so he got Youtube up for us and we just watched various shows on Youtube. The room was very dated, but had everything we needed and was very clean. The internet was shocking and worked when it wanted to (or if I held my phone in the right spot) so we gave up on that as it constantly dropped out. The breakfast was very nice and there were plenty of options, and the staff were lovely. The pool and pool area were nice and clean and the pool itself was lovely to swim in. The beds were incredibly hard, but that was ok as they all appear to be the same. Would I stay here again? Probably not. Were the staff lovely? Yes, but didn't understand English very well (which again was ok given we are in their country). Location is in an excellent position. Food was good. Pool was good. Rooms and passage ways were very tired and dated and old but served the purpose.

Stayed here 4 nights. Hotel clean and rooms a good size, bed was hard and uncomfortable but that seems the norm in Cambodia. Breakfast was ok with nice variety. Good location, 10 mins to Pub St but we drank at pop up river bars with friendly locals, it was good fun. Massage in Spa was great price at only $9 for hour. Best part is rooftop pool and bar, great after hot day visiting temples, lovely view across city. Didn’t use hotel driver for tours as he was annoying, found a local tuk tuk who spoke good English, he took us to all the sights for $20 for the day.

We stayed at this hotel for three days. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to pub Street. The breakfast was OK but the breakfast staff was a bit detached and did not seem to interested in ensuring all was OK. My main issue was the bed I had was really hard that it was difficult to sleep. The pool and bar was nice bit there were so many bugs I couldnt really enjoy my time there.

We first stayed here in 2012 and again this February. Spotlessly clean, good food and just a gorgeous group of genuine, friendly staff. Lovely roof top pool and prefect location. You will not be disappointed.

We stayed here while on our honeymoon and this is a really lovely hotel. The staff are very helpful (they set up several day tours and tuk tuk trips for us) and friendly, the rooftop pool is great and the hotel in general is very clean. Our room was huge with a private balcony.
