The breakfast omelette and the dinner steak is pretty decent (don't bother asking about the doneness though; you get what you get). I asked a few questions here on TripAdvisor before I left to stay at this hotel but never got a reply so I'll answer my own questions. Do the TVs have HDMI in? - The TVs are those...

It's not all bad but very much in need of some revitalization. Although the front doesn't look to bad with its typically Asian heavily accented wooden décor, it's the rooms themselves that need upgrading. The shower in our bathroom was fixed over the old bathtub at about chin height. Okay, you could use it as a hand held shower, but...

We arrived at this hotel on the advice of our driver who we found out had a relationship with this hotel. We asked to see a room before confirming and the room looked acceptable. However, we were not given the room we saw. Our bathroom was disgustingly wet and the shower head was broken. The bed had stains and was...

Stayed here as part of a tour. Hotel did the job - great location, well priced. Pool was nice after a hot day of temple viewing. Would recommend and stay again. Really loved Cambodia! Will visit again

As a Millenial Traveler, I look for two things when I stay somewhere: Cleanliness and a strong wifi connection. This place fell short with the wifi- it worked, but was spotty. The rooms were pretty clean (the fridge smelled weird though?) The bathroom was relatively clean, straight out of 1986 with the maroon tile and water stained shower curtain, but...

I stayed at some great hotels while in Cambodia, but not this one. Here is a short list of the issues I encountered here during a two night stay: shower had poor water pressure and the hot water lasted maybe two minutes; some of my laundry was accidentally given to another guest; the pool had no water (and we really...

Large breakfast, with typical Cambodian food and delicious fruit. No problems with any of the bedrooms, large enough and clean. The towel have been changed every day (even if we forgot about it). Quick laundry service (2$/kg) but not perfect, one of our t-shirt ended up stained. Friendly staff but poor english-speaking. Poor wifi in the bedrooms but excellent in...

I enjoyed staying at the Freedom Hotel: good location in a street with a variety of shops, banks, spas. The street was Cambodian-wide, making it a zen experience in crossing. The hotel has an ATM right out the front, which is very convenient. Also convenient was the dining room/restaurant/breakfast which was a part of the complex, but I think separate...

This is a nice hotel with very reasonable rates. The rooms are not fancy, but are clean and comfortable. The newer section is much nicer than the older part. The pool is very nice, but often have a shortage of towels, which staff gladly replenish when asked. Staff are great and very helpful. There is inexpensive laundry service with 24...

The Freedom has been around since 1995 or so... I first visited in 2001 and have been going back ever since. This is a family owned enterprise, and if you go back you will be treated like an old friend. Yes, the place is a bit aged, but if you get the newer rooms which have been updated and touched...
