Very welcoming and friendly. I was upgraded to a room with private balcony on arrival, and a refreshing cool drink. Rooms are modern and very clean. Restaurant serves a great breakfast and dinner. Tours and drivers can be arranged at reception. You get to feel very much at home in this family run hotel. Thankyou to all staff for making it such a pleasure to stay there.
Booked room and then they asked for more money when arrive.they say because of new year.but already paid.then sent us to another hotel for 2 nights, then back here 1 night.room was good and food was good also.but he did sell our rooms out at bigger money.not happy,as he was very rude to me and wife.and manny others had same.
Stayed here for 5 nights (initially booked for 3). Great price. Room (king) was large and comfortable. Excellent and reasonably priced restaurant downstairs (which we used every day) as the meals were consistently very good - mix of western and Khmer food. Outdoor sitting/eating area by a nice pool. Everywhere very clean. Owners and their staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and accomodating. Five minute walk to the Old Market and Pub Street area. We would highly recommend this
This is a family run hotel that is doing some renovations at the moment. The construction is mostly done at the so it was not a issue for us. Didn’t hear the kids on the first morning as we were gone to see the temples at 4:30 already. Heard them on the 2nd morning and taught it was the cutest thing ever :-) Rooms big an spacious, bathroom ok, restaurant was also not finished which was a shame as they put so love into making the place better I am sure the food would reflect that. Done our laundry within a few hours and a fair price. Their tuc-tuc driver picked us up from the airport and we used him to bring us to the temples. He was great and the price was totally normal. This is a family putting everything into making this place to make it a little bit special. Lovely people I would change my dates of travel if they hadn’t got a room for me. Safe travels …
If not stay away till june 2019. They should warn people on the site and give a huge discount. They are not just renovating a room but make a whole new building at 2 meters from our room door. Noisy, many musquitos, big hard pillows we did not like because they gave us a stiff neck. The people are nice. The bed is good. The free airport pickup was waiting for us. When the builders are gone ( and new pillows are there) did will be a nice place.
+ Good value for nice rooms with comfortable bed and all the basics you need. + Very well and central located with many restaurants around. 5min walk to Pub Street. + Owner really friendly and standby to help with anything you need including recommendations. + New water and room cleaned every day. The only minus I have is that the place is undertaking major constructions, which means noise already early from the morning. So if you plan to sleep in and relax, this might not be for you in the coming months. But if you are up early to see temples or other sightseeings, then it will not bother you. I would stay here again.
Located in a very good location and the owner is very friendly. A Family run accomodation with proximity to many restaurants, bars and main attraction in Siem Reap such as pub street, night market, etc. The strategic location with a small pool is good for hot and humid weather in Siem Reap. Thanks to the owner who helped us arrange a trip immediately and we enjoy the trip.
This is a small, family-run basic hotel--no fancy stuff here, but the warmth and friendliness of the owner makes totally makes this a gem! We (4 girls) arrived after dark, exhausted and frazzled--Mr Loy promptly took charge with his calming, soothing demeanor--"you are here, and now you can relax". He immediately offered to set up our visit to Angkor Wat the next morning (4am departure!) with an English speaking guide, and basically personally attended to all our needs. The owners live on site--it felt like we were staying with family, kids in pj's running around, a bunny in the lobby, and a nice restaurant onsite. Beautiful clean pool, and perfect location to the hot spots in Siem Reap. Our return ride to the airport was running late--Mr Loy got his own car and took us to the airport so we wouldn't be late. Cambodia is fab! I highly recommend the Unique Angkor Villa.…
This is a review for the restaurant only as hubby and I didn’t stay here. The food was okay, not terrible but not fantastic either. It was a little bit expensive by local standards ($8.50 for 2 mains and 2 drinks).
Hotel is 5 mins walk to Pub Street. Plenty of Night Markets. Basically it is near to everything! Even walking distance to Hard Rock Cafe. Request for motorcycle rent from hotel if you are adventurous enough. Owner Mr Loy is very kind. Room is clean.
