Detailed Reviews
Stayed here for 5 nights (initially booked for 3). Great price.
Room (king) was large and comfortable.
Excellent and reasonably priced restaurant downstairs (which we used every day) as the meals were consistently very good - mix of western and Khmer food.
Outdoor sitting/eating area by a nice pool.
Everywhere very clean.
Owners and their staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and accomodating.
Five minute walk to the Old Market and Pub Street area.
We would highly recommend this

Nice stay at Unique Angkor Villa. Great budget-friendly option & also a great option to help support a local family owned business. It’s a great location and walking distance to markets, pubs, restaurants & spa’s. The family who own this accom also own the mini mart next door and can help with Laundry & Motorbike rentals.

Very welcoming and friendly. I was upgraded to a room with private balcony on arrival, and a refreshing cool drink.
Rooms are modern and very clean. Restaurant serves a great breakfast and dinner. Tours and drivers can be arranged at reception. You get to feel very much at home in this family run hotel. Thankyou to all staff for making it such a pleasure to stay there.

The hotel's complimentary tuktuk pick up was already in the airport waiting for us when we arrived at around 10pm. Around 15 mins ride to the hotel. Located in a quiet area near the Night Market and Pub Street. Smooth check in with friendly staff. Special mention to Mr. Han. Gave us a room on the ground floor but the aircon was not functioning so they transferred us to another room. We stayed in Room 301, which I think is the only room on the top of the building, with a terrace outside. Big room, with a king size bed, LED TV on the wall, coffeemaker with coffee and tea, 2 bottles of complimentary bottled water, wardrobe with a safety deposit box inside. a mini fridge and a desk. Clean bathroom with hot and cold shower, with toiletries. Free flow of coffee/tea and banana chips in the lobby. The only drawback is the small plated breakfast served 20-30 minutes after ordering.

This hotel is a quaint little (I believe family run) hotel. It has a pretty pool but offers little sun. The restaurant attached is good and tasty. The hotel is within a 5 min walk to pub street, but be quiet coming in because hotel personal we’re sleeping in the lobby. Our room was freshly renovated, but was missing quite a bunch of stuff. I feel like they weren’t done renovating but still gave us the room. There’s plenty to do in Siem Reap which is great because this hotel is centrally located. It’s also located next to a school so if you care to sleep in, expect some yelling children. The staff is very friendly and will get you anything you need. There no elevator by the way so walking up and down stairs is quite the chore after hiking the temples. All in all it was nice, but a little off. Keep an eye out for the owners son, he’s very cute and giggling all the time.

On the day that we checked in (which was at 8pm after our trek), the manager said that his hotel was fully booked and due to a mistake on their end, they had to shift us to their sister hotel, which turned out to be a hostel instead. Since our hotel was already paid for, we were very disappointed that we were moved to a hostel. After talking things out, the manager was very apologetic and told us that he would find us something better the next day. The next day he came to pick us up at 1130am and brought us back to the hotel we booked. He even gave us complimentary breakfast and took care of our needs. Awesome service by the staff and the manager was good at crisis management! He did all he could to make things better for us. The manager's name was Lucky Loy. Very good service Loy!

Cheap accommodation and very spacious rooms (for the price). Very near Pub street and the night markets. They will assign a tuk tuk driver to bring you to the temples during your stay. The owner will always greet you and offer you beer after you've gone to the temples. Highly recommended hotel!

First the pros:-
A good clean homestay, well appointed rooms, friendly staff and excellent location. Walking distance from the night markets as well as pub streets. Good décor – lots of dark wood furniture. Free fruits, coffee and tea 24x7 in the lobby. A couple of computers for residents to use. Good wifi connectivity. The staff also help you negotiate with the Tuk Tuks to take you around the place as well have good suggestions on what to do.
Now the cons :-
Of their 10 or 12 rooms, there are one or two rooms which are still not done up – we were unlucky and got room 001 which is downright terrible. so be carefull and ask for the rooms which are depicted on their site. Due to the season and full booking, we had to stay in a lousy room for the first night before they moved us.
We reached on 31st late evening and had planned a 4am drive down to see the sunrise at the Angkor Wat.. so the family was not in any mood to go out for dinner and decided to eat at the place - we sat on a table for quite some time before realizing that there was no service..! would have been good to put up a notice or let us know when we were checking in.. so being tired, went off to bed without dinner on a 31st Dec evening...!
Bathrooms are clean - but SMALL.... frightfully small... one is literally hanging over the WC to take a shower and the drains are bad - so there is water logging. So after one bath, the next in the family has to wait for some time before the bath can be used....

A beautiful guesthouse with a kind manager for 15$ (Low season) it's good value!
The room was big and perfectly clean, as was the bathroom. The shower was perfect with a good flush of water. The room had a good aircon, fridge, phone and tv. The pool was under construction.
The guesthouse is in a good position, in a quite lane just near supermarkets and resturaunt. The manager is very nice, he helped us to find a cheap and good transport to angkor wat temples and, at the end of stay, he drove us to the night bus. The younger receptionist doesn't speak english and the informations were often confused...better to speak with manager!
