Absolutely lovely hotel in a good position of town. Staff were great and very friendly/helpful. Pool was very welcome on the hot days. Just a few things which makes it a 4 not a five. The breakfast was great with plenty of choice. Service for drinks was very slow especially at peak times, this needs changing to pots of tea/coffee to speed things. Rooms were spacious and clean, though the pillows were way too soft, perhaps have one of each or choice available. The pool was welcome as mentioned but the sunbed mattress were looking grubby and dirty. A lovely stay though.

Hotel's Favorite
Our stay here was pure perfection from start to finish. Our pool villa was insanely beautiful and well appointed. The service from the staff was as good as any 5 star hotel I’ve stayed in the world and always with a smile and joyful spirit This is one of our favorite properties of all time due to the room and amenities and particularly the staff. Bravo to our butler Neand, driver kosol and Ewan the GM whe along with the rest of the staff were impeccable. Thank you for making our stay sheer perfection ❤️🙏❤️

Room was somewhat quirky, but certainly comfortable for our 3 night stay. Staff were very friendly and welcoming every time we returned from our various tours, or from our walks down to the ‘old quarter’ which is a 10 to 15 minute gentle stroll, although you will spend a lot of the walk persuading the tuc-tuc drivers that pass that you really do want to walk. Our room was large, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was also large, just a shower, no bath tub that my wife prefers. The pool was right outside our door, so the room was quite noisy when guests were enjoying happy hour from 4 till 6 at the pool bar. Breakfast was good, in particular the French toast, and the chef on the eggs counter did a great job even when 2 coach loads of us descended on him after watching the sun rise over Angkor Wat; unfortunately the team on the coffee machine weren’t so good and it took a while to get fresh coffee. It is certainly best to drink in the hotel at happy hour, 4 to 6 at the pool bar and 5 to 7 upstairs at the main bar, which operates on a buy one get one free basis, which only works well if you both want the same drink. Drinks are normally more expensive in a hotel, but the $3 for a local beer seemed a little steep against the $0.75 to $1 charged at most bars in town, and even less during their happy hours.

This was a wonderful little resort right near the action of Pub Street and the local markets. The staff was so kind and caring and the facilities were wonderful. We will definitely stay here again if we are every lucky enough to visit Cambodia for a second time.

This is in a good location, ok service and average International food. It came up short, versus some of the wonderful hotels we have stayed at on this trip. Large groups staying in the hotel did not help especially as so many of them were visibly ill but carrying on as usual , getting their inclusive breakfast etc , spreading germs. Definitely a hotel for big tour parties, so you feel like you are on conveyor belt. Room nicely designed as you would expect and very functional but no warmth or comfort , definitely did not want to hang around at this hotel .

Dear Sue, It is always a pity when guests hold a hotel accountable for their guest type. Avoiding peak time at the same inclusive breakfasts that you had, would have allowed you to have had a more relaxed experience. We love our guests, but do of course understand that we cannot always live up to every guests expectations. Regards, Ewan and the Shinta Mani team.

We had a great 3 night stay here in mid February. The hotel is Ideally positioned to visit the local sites of Angkor Wat etc. and the perfect place to find sanctuary after a hot and exhausting day sightseeing. Our room was huge with a massive walk in shower and a balcony overlooking the pool. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even organising flowers and a card for Valentines Day. We both visited the spa and had some of the best treatments we have experienced. The Food in Restaurant Kroya was fresh and delicious and a visit to the Bar for Happy Hour was a daily ritual. A special mention must go to Mr Veasna for his professional and friendly service.

Fabulous hotel, great location, staff , food and accommodation. The main hotel side had a nicer pool than the smaller annex on the other side of the road. Loved that someone was always there to see you across, even in a torrential downpour! Don’t miss the Cambodian market next door.

I highly recommend this hotel. I was on vacation with my daughter and we had the best time. The service was impeccable, with extremely friendly staff such as Mr Veaona. The room was beautifully decorated and made twice a day. The hotel organised everything from our pick up and drop off at the airport, booking the restaurants and the visit of the temples with a friendly driver Mr Sopheak and an excellent guide Mr Phirom. And after a day of visits, we loved resting and eating by the beautiful pool of the hotel. We also had a couple of treatments at the spa, which were very relaxing. We also appreciated the central location of the hotel, which meant that we could walk easily to various places of interest in Siem Reap. A big thank you to the team of the Shinta Mani Angkor, who made our vacation so enjoyable!

This is one of the nicest properties we have ever visited. Incredibly chic pool area with a wonderfully kept tropical garden, good food, excellent cocktails and kind staff. The overall atmosphere is that of the finest boutique hotel. Location is ideal for exploring Siem Reap, hotel helped with guides to Angkor temples, car service, driver and guide were excellent, we couldn’t have wished for a better organized trip.

What a place!! A warm welcome awaited us at this very exclusive luxury hotel. After a long journey from the uk we were greeted with first class hospitality at this beautiful hotel in the heart of Siem Reap. Cool towels and refreshing drink were provided by our amazing Bentley Butler Grace and we escorted to our stunning pool villa where attention to detail and stunning surroundings awaited. As we were celebrating our anniversary Grace and her team also arrived at our room with a glass of champagne and canapés and then a little later with a beautiful cake and flowers. We were thrilled. Anything we needed be it information or organisation of trips and help was dealt with efficiently, professionally and quite honestly perfectly by Grace. Her loyalty to the hotel shines through and she is an absolute asset to the brand. We felt extremely lucky to have her helping us and truly feel honoured to have been her guests. We hope she will keep in touch and remain a friend. I really hope this inspirational young woman will continue to build on her success and go far. She’s definitely got something very special and a natural hospitality employee. The pool villa is to die for, very unique and luxurious. The bed is like sleeping on a cloud and the team keep it immaculate. Scenting it with spa like fragrances and real attention to detail. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. We liked the larger pool area (there are two, the second is a bit more shady and more of a lap pool - still beautiful though), plenty of sunshine, first class waiter service and the pool side food was delicious. It felt like you were in an oasis within the city bustle. So calming and relaxing. Iced water was regularly brought to our beds and we really lapped up the opportunity to peacefully wind down after busy mornings visiting temples and waterfalls. There are plenty of tuk tuks just outside the hotel to zip you around the area and they are very reasonably priced (we paid 5 USD for a one hour tour of the city and then tipped as it was so good). Food in the area is plentiful with literally hundreds of options and we paid anywhere between 8USD and a 100USD for a couple of starters, 4 main meals and a couple of beers stir the two of us so you really can be in a budget or extravagant if the need takes you. All of the food was good and I’d even go so far as to say the 8USD meal rivalled the most expensive one we had for food quality (obviously the fancy meal had a more luxurious environment!). Please do visit this hotel if you visit Cambodia. You will not be disappointed by the stunning hotel, warmth and care of the staff and if you are lucky enough to get Grace looking after you then hand on heart you are incredibly lucky. What a place!
