It's my second visit to Siem Reap and since I stayed in a five star hotel previously, I thought it would be good to have our own villa with pool for a different experience. After a long search, I came across Thierry's lovely villa. The two level villa is available for rental by floor or individual rooms. There are 6 rooms all together. I decided to book the entire villa so my family and friend could hang out with each other. The villa is set in a way that provide lots of common area for interaction as we chill out, which would not be possible had we stayed in hotel. The big pool is fantastic and inviting for post temple relaxation. The gatekeeper is lovely. He's always on standby in the evening to bring us on the Tuk Tuk to pub streets and market which is close by. There are also two ladies who keep the house and help with request. The home-cook breakfast with huge variety of cut fruit is really enjoyable. Thierry is a great host with a lovely Cambodian wife and adorable daughter. He helped made various travel/restaurant arrangements and came by discreetly throughout our stay to ensure that everything is going well. We really enjoyed sharing stories with him. It's great to be hosted by someone who love living in Cambodia. …
We were a family group of 10 and we hired the whole villa which gave us the privacy we wanted. The villa was clean & spacious with different communal areas, some indoors and most outdoors. The fixtures & fittings and furnishings were all of a high standard and the beds were very comfortable. Thierry who owns the villa was a charming, considerate, interesting and very helpful host from start to finish. He popped around most days to see if we required anything. Without us asking one day we arrived back to find he had bought new inflatables pumped them up and left them in the pool for our kids as the previous ones had punctured. The location of the villa was about 10-15mins by tuk-tuk into central Siem Reap. There is not too much in the immediate vicinity of the villa, but tuk tuks a very cheap (USD 3) and the location away from the hustle and bustle of central Siem Reap is what makes it such a relaxing place to stay. If I had to try to pick one negative thing it would be that there were a lot of mosquitoes, but that's pretty much everywhere in Siem Reap.…
We were part of a group of friends staying for a week in Siem Reap and we all really enjoyed our time in the villa. A wonderful stay with lovely host and staff ... who looked after us so well, both in the villa and arranging transport around Siem Reap. The bedrooms were spacious and clean ... and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was amazing ... and we had great fun chilling out in the evening in the upstairs living area. The location was perfect for sightseeing, golfing ... and going out to the local bars and restaurants. Our host Thierry and his wife and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Chum, our resident tuk tuk driver, was also always available and at our service whenever we needed him. We also throughly enjoyed our breakfasts each day with fresh rolls and pastries, local fruit and juices, bacon and eggs ... and strong teas and coffee. Thierry was also able to help out with restaurant recommendations - local Cambodian food is awesome! Thierry was our perfect host - regularly dropping by to make sure we were being spoilt ... and ensuring our trip was amazing. What a great experience. Thank you ..!!!!…
We had the most amazing experience at Alliance Tradition Villa last month. We were greeted by the owner who shared all his secret tips about visiting the temples around Siem Reap but also off the beaten path. The house can be rented as a whole or split up. We had an entire floor with two spacious bedrooms and two baths. The rooms are very decorated with great taste and are very large and comfortable. The space include a very nice outdoor space with a pool table which was a biography plus with our three boys. There is also a very nice swimming pool. We loved every minute of our stay there and would recommend for families looking for a place that feels more like a home than a hotel.
We are an extended family that travelled to Siem Reap for a wedding. Half of us stayed here while the other half stayed at Villa Asaliah. Both stay were just wonderful. We really like this place because of the traditional architecture. It had a wonderfully cozy feeling. The staff was awesome and almost always just right there when you needed them. Mr. Chum, the gatekeeper/tuk tuk driver, was at our service no matter how late. Also, if we let him know ahead of time just who and where we needed to go, he would arrange all the transportation. It was just great. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff accommodated our time every day. We all looked forward to the fresh pastries, fresh fruit and juice, coffee, bacon, and eggs. There are three ensuite rooms on the main floor. Two are off the living room and the third is off of the main floor patio. Upstairs are another three bedrooms, two of which have a Jack and Jill bath and the third is also ensuite. The host, Thierry, was extremely helpful. I think he really loves being a host and wanted our trip to be amazing. We have so much to thank him for.…
