Authenticity and contrasts. Dreamt up and designed by South East Asia enthusiasts, Sala Lodges capitalists on its simplicity to create a sense of absolute luxury, ideal for welcoming guests with exacting yet relaxed standards. With an easy convenient location by just 10 minutes walking to attraction areas. The eleven wooden houses on stilts were spotted in villages in the Cambodian countryside, dismantled, transported and beautifully restored to offer the ultimate in comfort to guests. Each house, with its different history and architecture affords Sala Lodges its quality as a unique and intimate hotel. The communal areas provide a slick and contemporary feel to the hotel. The clean, modern lines of the reception, restaurant, bar and swimming pool accentuate the contrast with the traditional houses.

Very original property, built in traditional Cambodian wooden house, the place is purely serene after exhausting day in temples. It's ad well in the edge of busy siemreap, a real relief. Amazing sunset by the pool in company or Arne, the Swiss owner, full of good advise. We did not want to leave the room and would have happily stay longer!

This is complicated. The place is everything you want your trip to Cambodia to be. Nice big rooms, great bathrooms, local ambience with the western touch, great pool and good food, frogs and crickets at night. HOWEVER... very thin wooden walls. You are in the middle of local life in Siem Reap. There's music and working locals going about their everyday life all around you. In the weekend people are having a good time around the resort. The service is good. But as you will find in big hotels in Cambodia, the food is fine, but way overpriced. Take a Tuk-tuk for a couple of bucks to a local restaurant, and you will get better food and experience for one third the price.

We had a lovely, beautifully appointed cottage in a lush and private setting. Grounds were gorgeous, food delicious, staff warm, gracious, attentive, and friendly, anticipating and providing for our every need. We felt pampered every minute we were on the grounds, and the hotel took care of us off the grounds as well. We were in Siem Reap to see the temples at Angor, and the hotel found excellent tour guides, who shared broad and deep knowledge about the history and culture behind the temples, and also moved us through the experience both efficiently and generously, so that we could take our time and also see explore as much as we liked. Deep thanks to the hotel, and to Kim Hoeun for a treasure of an experience.

My wife and myself stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed it very much. Highlight is the restaurant which serves excellent quality food. Room for improvement is on the service levels trough all parts. very young and motivated staff which needs more training and guidance from senior management levels.

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The owner came out multiple times to say hello. They decorated our room with flowers and small gifts for our honeymoon- it was so sweet and thoughtful! They had a Tuk Tuk always available to take us around Siem Reap. The food was delicious and they accommodated our vegan palate. The grounds were stunning. The houses were AMAZING! So unique- we did not find anything like it anywhere else. And so comfortable. The had great guide for temples- Mr Kim Hoeun! Highly recommend touring with him. He had us laughing the whole time and took incredible pictures! Also very interesting. There is some music from the surrounding area but it did not bother us and they had earplugs if needed for light sleepers at night. Was a great place to reconnect and restore. Absolutely wonderful.
