Great location on a quiet street. Easy to walk to town area with restaurants, markets, pub street and night ambience. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Spacious rooms with kitchen, living room, and separate bedroom and bathroom. Washing machine in the room was a fabulous bonus.

It was wonderful having a suite with so much space, as well as a washing machine. The staff was very friendly and the food was good. It was very noisy though. Many nights it sounded like a rock concert was happening outside. There was also a lot of banging, which may have been the doors closing, as they shut very hard. They were doing construction or something on the room next door, so that was also very loud during the day. Mr. Hak was my tuk tuk driver while staying there, and he was great. He took me around Angkor Wat, to Phare, the Cambodian circus, etc. I’d highly recommend using his services if you stay there.

We stayed at Château d'Angkor La Résidence in our visit to Cambodia. Hotel is beautiful and very well maintained. We had a full appartment with 2 wide bedrooms with air conditioning both. The main bedroom has its own bathroom there's a 2nd bathroom beside the 2nd bedroom. There is also a washing machine available and a full equipped kitchen. The appartment is really big and had a dining room and living room set with a small TV. As we don't watch TV it doesn't matter for us. The beds were king size and very comfortable. Our appartment had a balcony facing the pool. The pool was clean and the chairs were also in good condition... everything is very comfortable. The staff is really friendly and treated us well. We booked with them a guided tour to Angkor Wat early in the morning to see the sunrise. Our guide, Mr. Kim is very passionate, and our tour with him has been extraordinary. He knows very well the place and he told us legends and history of the place. We really enjoyed the visit and his company. In addition to his knowledge, he is a wonderful photographer!!! He knows the perfect place, moment and position to take very nice photos of the place. We really enjoyed our visit to the temples and to Siem Raep. If we come back to Cambodia, we will definitely come back to Château d'Angkor La Résidence.

I spent 12 days at Chateau d'Angkor la Residence in January/February 2023. Everyone was wonderful - from the front desk to the wait staff, housekeeping and room service. It was great to have a washing machine in my room. Tours were arranged with Smile Cambodia Tour (Mr. Thim) who was fantastic - very well informed.

We had a very informative and enjoyable day on the Grand tour with Mr Hak and Mr Sonny. Mr Sonny was very knowledgeable as well as very passionate about his country and even gave us beautiful gifts at the end of the tour. We learnt a lot about Angkor and Cambodian history. We would recommend this trip to everyone that’s visiting Siem Reap!

Nice clean hotel 5 minutes walks to the Center, Pub street and local markets. One of the more secure hotels with 24hr reception and gated complex. Ideal if you want to hire scooters because the complex locks it’s gates. Rooms are massive and kept clean and tidy. Staff are very helpful and friendly

There are many things that can be improved at this hotel, but two things that put this place over and above a 5 star hotel nearby are 1. They have a clothes washer and detergent in the room, and 2. Each ‘room’ has two bedrooms and bathrooms! Yes, it’s more like a condo. The living room is huge which connects to the kitchen area. They have tableware (forks, spoons, chopsticks) in a drawer for you to use and glasses and bowls as well. A/C works great. And floor to ceiling doors open to a balcony that you can sit or hang your clothes to dry. The rooms are clean and staff are courteous and responsive. They will get food or whatever you need asap. You could live here comfortably for many months. What, then, could be improved? Scalding hot water that will burn your skin if you don’t test it first. Hot water that runs out before you finish your shower. Showerheads that put out questionable amount of water for your shower regardless what setting you put it in. Mosquitoes dash around the bathroom and bedroom. If you don’t swat around you while you sit on the toilet, you will get bit. It is walking distance to Pubstreet, which means you can hear a very loud party to midnight. Also, if you are in Siem Reap, please, for one meal, go to Malis. The quality and taste of the food can’t be beat at any street vendor that sells you fried noodles for a dollar. Go to Malis, which is within walking distance from this hotel, and order their mango salad (gnum svay), beef sour soup (samlor machou kroeung sach ko), fish amok, and roasted gobi fish smothered in salt. I do not recommend their vegetables soup called samlor kako (I’ve had better at some place else) or the scallop baked on its shell (it was salty).
