We really liked Borann, l'Auberge des Temples. It was quite affordable and very charming. The staff was warm and helpful. The pool area is a very nice place to relax on a hot afternoon, after exploring the town and temple sites. We found the room to be slightly spartan. And the AC worked, but was a tad on the weak... Probably the favourite hotel of our 3 week stay. The lush garden setting and open space is peaceful and beautiful and worth the few minutes extra walk into town. We checked both upstairs and down rooms and chose the up as being a bit lighter. Take care on the stairs though - Cambodian hand rails are very low! The best... More

This is my third visit to Siem Reap and first stay at Borann. I can't believe how much the city has grown since my first visit in 2004, but this hotel provided the perfect escape from the crowds and the traffic. We stayed for four nights. The pool in the garden was a perfect follow up to seeing the sights... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Borann. Amazing service. Terrific staff. Lovely pool / eating environment. Rooms were simple but comfortable and clean throughout. You are a $2 tuk tuk ride from the madness of Beer St making it a quiet retreat after a great night out. Plenty of room for the kids to play. A terrific family holiday... More

This hotel is in a great, quiet location for getting out and about around Siem Reap. All the staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. They helped us sort out everything that we wanted to do while we were there. We had a busy few days and it was lovely going back to our quaint,... More

We experienced a couple of magical nights surrounded by natural beauty in a conveniently-located bungalow. The staff was very knowledgeable and most helpful. All transfers to and from the airport, the town and the temples were comfortable, well-organized and timely. We loved staying at this lovely, intimate resort.

Stayed here for a couple nights and what a great introduction to Siem Reap. The hotel is well located and set in a quiet haven. The staff were all delightful and couldn't do enough for you. My daughter had a massage arranged which was given by a blind masseur...apparently highly recommended. Rooms were very comfortable and the gardens and pool... More

Thanks for your comment. Yes, the blind masseurs were student from the school for blind and deaf i have created in Cambodia since 1993 through the organisation i started. And, instead of providing "no pain, no gain" traditional massages, we have focused on relaxing massages for you to enjoy smoothness after a day in the temples. Hope you'll come soon... More

We were lucky to travel through Cambodia and therefore stayed in many different places, but Borann, l'Auberge des Temples was by far the best. Located in a beautiful oasis in the heart of Siem Reap, this hotel is really a little bit of paradise. The pool is crystal clear, and surrounded by gorgeous flowering trees (how do the petals never... More

Thanks for this nice and very complete comment regarding Borann. For the pool, the salty system allow to keep very nice and body friendly water. For the comfort...yes, we have done our best for you to enjoy khmer architecture and furniture...but with western comfort. Happy you enjoyed it. See you soon at Borann. Benito and Borann's team. We very much our week at this hotel. It's very quiet; the garden and pool are lovely. The food is good; the staff very helpful. It's a short distance from the town but easy to take a tuk-tuk in, and it's well place for the temples. Beware of paying too much for tuk tuks and taxis.

Thanks a lot for your nice comment. Touk touk waiting at the hotel are independent and it is up to you to take them or not after negotiation. They might be 1$ more expensive for a day than outside, but when you forget something on the touk touk...it is not lost for ever. They'll return it as many have been... More

Very nice and calm place . A little bit outside from Old Market but good to reach by foot (about 15min Walk). Friendly staff, nice rooms and a great garden with pool to relax. You can easily go from there to Ankor and the staff will help you to arrange your Trip.

Thanks a lot for your nice comment. Yes, far enough not to hear the crazy sound of the old market pub street area, and near enough to go there walking along the nice river of Siem Reap. Hope to see you again or your friends to make you enjoy another time your stay. Thanks to have chosen Borann. Bénito. More
