What a great group of people Chris and Pla have just taken over and the place has been revamped with bar, restaurant and rooftop chillout lounge freshly painted and open. There's usually a good crowd at the bar a mixture of travellers and long term expats. The restaurant has traditional english food, you've gotta try the pies. OH and the FREE BREAKFAST just makes it a no brainer to stay here.

Location is good, nice and quiet and not close to the bars, while also being only a short walk to Pub Street and restaurants. The pool was also great, the free buffet breakfast comes in handy, and the staff were friendly. The only downside is that the place is getting a little bit old, and some of the rooms are in better condition than others. The first room we had was on the third floor, the bathroom was a bit grimy looking, one of the lights didn't work, and another of the down lights had come out of the ceiling and was hanging by the wiring. The wiring short circuited on the second night and we didn't have power so they moved us to another room, which was much nicer and in much better condition. However for the price we paid it's hard to expect too much, and the place was pretty good value overall.

Rooms are clean and bed comfortable, air con worked well. Our party loved the pool although it's not quite sparklingly clean as some others. Check-in was very quick, we had 8 people spread over 3 rooms, no problem that there was one extra in our group over what was booked. Breakfast is fairly basic but did the job! The centre of town is less than 10 minutes walk, even with kids.

Bliss is slightly out of town. A bit quiet and staff accommodating. Breakfasts not so bad. Rooms were fine. Pool was OK. Good value here. Road is a bit busy. Good bar nearby with cheap beer. Easy to find tuktuk into town and very cheap too.
