Detailed Reviews
Staffs are friendly and helpful. Rooms were good and clean. But there was no rubber mat in the bath tub to avoid slipperiness and my husband slipped and fell after a massage in the hotel, Luckily nothing very serious happened to him, only Injured his muscle. Tried explaining to them but they couldn’t understand what we are trying to explain instead maintenance were sent to adjust the shower. But quick action though.
As for breakfast I would say just ok. Thank you.

We went to cambodia for family trip.
We was so care with our parents.
But the hotel( Mr win) was so helpful to make a reservation with our spa and restaurant.
And speak english very well.
When we check in they gave us wrong room type but while we stayed 5 days the service made me to forget their mistake.

A hotel that in no way deserves 5 stars. Certainly the welcome is as warm as everywhere in Cambodia, but this hotel is aging and poorly maintained. The cleaning of the rooms is minimalist, the few supplies of products (coffee, shower gel) are not renewed, the outdoor pool floors and the dozen or so deckchairs offered are dirty. not to mention the very ordinary breakfast. I'm going over a lot of other details because the list is long. Too bad because it was a very nice hotel

We stayed for 16 nights which is unusual as we were visiting our daughter. During this time only 5 rooms max were occupied (out of 180) so it was all rather strange. Even more strange was that they put these together so that you could hear the next door guests. Staff were really nice and helpful. Spa was closed (even though on the website) and no one in the bars. The pool is lovely but used a lot for swimming lessons. Would be excellent if you were staying a few nights to visit Angkor Wat. Position is really good as quiet but easy to walk to the Royal Gardens. When we arrived no chairs on the balcony and only 4 hangers in the cupboard but this was sorted quickly.

Excellent location and overall service was amazing. Special appreciation to the front desk guy named Meng Houy because he was very friendly and helpful since day one we visited there.
The downside is that the food selection for breakfast buffet is just okay. It could be better.

The pillows, towels and toiletries are fresh white and clean. The hotel is very livable and cozy. Its site is accessible to downtown. The ambiance where the hotel is standing is only just walking distance from the Riverside Park. Hotel staff that we have met, are courteous, accommodating and respectful.

This is a delightful hotel, not far from the hustle and bustle of Pub Street. The room was spotlessly clean and the staff were so polite and helpful. Not expensive and I would definitely stay here again. PS. The pool is large and very attractive.

The hotel is nice and comfortable. The room was clean. They have the nicest and helpful people working in the hotel. This place made us feel really good. It is close to everything and it was really easy for us to move around Cambodia. Recommend.

We stayed in Siem Reap from the 20th to the 24th of August this year. Staff were lovely and the hotel is very beautiful with a huge pool and good dining facilities, although I was disappointed by the evening buffet.
The problem is I would not recommend that you eat or buy gifts inside the hotel. The prices are sky high (unless you really do not mind and can budget for this) and the quality of the goods is exactly the same as the ones on the street sold by little kids. I know who I would rather give my money to.
I decided to visit a school out there to hand out gifts to little children who only had the clothes that they stood in. I am not connected to any charity and was just an interested visitor.
These children are grateful for anything ranging from stickers to pencils etc. If you are interested in such a visit please contact me, a little bit of kindness goes a long way and the nice thing is you yourself deliver the goods and see the results. It is a great way of seeing the real people and how they live. They also organise dances for you to see as a thank you. There is no money involved and no hidden ulterior motives.
Everything in Siem Reap is "One Dollar" you will hear this said to you repeatedly by kids selling you gifts. Be kind to them as this region is still developing and apart from the big hotels there are only basic markets and some good restaurants. Don't forget to haggle though, you can knock most prices down by 50%; basically pay what you are happy to pay. I paid more sometimes just to see them happy. Please do not hand out money without purchasing gifts as this encourages begging. You will see music groups (Landmine victims) near the temples, they are okay.
Restaurants:
I highly recommend Arun Restaurant near the hotel, tell the Tuk Tuk driver and he will take you there it is only a few minutes away and the prices are great. There is another one a bit pricey and further away used by Foreign Journalists but is said to have a good reputation sorry I cannot remember the name.
Supermarkets:
There are small mini marts near the hotel, leave the hotel and turn right, after crossing a main busy intersection (not easy on foot may I warn you, we took a tuk tuk!) you will come across an airconditioned mart on your left after a parade of shops, prices for beer are reasonable here about 50cents per can. Biscuits and crisps will cost you atleast one dollar fifty. The other mart is located as follows, turn right out of hotel and take first right on the main intersection, drive along for a minute or two and it is on your left across the road, pink sign. Outside the hotel if you visit small shops, any change given to you will be in Riel not dollar, good for tipping. Four thousand is approximately one dollar depending on the exchange rate, please check.
Temples:
When in Siem Reap you have to make sure you see Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Banteay Srei and Ta Phrom. Ta Phrom was used to film TombRaider, our official guide told us. Our three day pass was $40.
Insect Repellent:
For those who are prone to mos and midge bites like me take lots of repellent with you as you are often travelling through jungle (not dense jungle!). Long thin cotton trousers will also help you from being attacked by the dreaded mosquitoes and midges. Please stay out of the sun between 12 and 3pm if you can, the sun is very strong and on a cloudy day it is easy to get burned. I suffered bad sunburn whilst swimming, my shoulders were raw for four days, does ruin the trip a bit.
Enjoy the atmosphere especially the monsoon rain season, the people and remember, it gets very hot!!! If you want to know anymore contact me. Have a great time out there!!!

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in Nov04with 3 other friends who all feel exaclty the same as I do about this hotel. I cant express how immaculate it was. The cleanliness of the rooms and the rest of the hotel is nothing short of amazing. The staff spend a lot of time making the hotel look perfect.
The rooms are very comfortable and well sized along with the bath/shower room.
The pool is very well kept, along with the hairsalon, gym and massage rooms.
There are only a few minor complaints, and it would be petty of me to mention them because they in no way detracted from my enjoyment of staying at this excellent hotel.
And i almost forgot to mention the location ..... its perfect. A couple of minutes walk into the centre of town of $1 by the waiting tuk tuks outside. Its about 5 minutes from the airport and a short ride to the ruins of Angkor Wat.
I know that there are plenty of cheaper hotels in the area for around $10 but if you look around the net you can book this hotel for around $150 a night (inclusive of a breakfast buffet that caters for a great variety of tastes... dont let the idea of a breakfast buffet put you off, it was of a high standard.). If you want to visit Siem Reap and pay that little bit extra be treated like a king/queen then stay here.

I am friends with a few tuk tuk drivers I met over there, everything is still open but the tourism industry has taken a big hit and they are struggling. You will love the hotel service is impeccable they can’t do enough!
