Our experience here was truly mixed. On the one hand, the staff were warm and accommodating. On the other, there are issues that a hotel this nice should not have. Prior to our trip, we made several attempts via email to contact the hotel to arrange airport transfer. We never received a response, so we took an official taxi from the airport. The driver couldn't find the hotel and had never heard of it (apparently there was a name change). He called the hotel for directions many times—as did we and as did the taxi office—and no one answered. We finally found it due to a road sign for the hotel’s restaurant. The biggest issue was that we found out upon settling our bill that the hotel didn't take credit cards! It came as a complete shock, as there is no mention of this on the hotel's website, nor on any signage in the lobby, nor were we informed of this upon check in. We only found out the night before we were to leave. My husband had to get in a tuktuk and go find an ATM machine (none were close). Additionally, we were told that we would be charged for a transport to the airport, when we were supposed to get a free transfer. We were told that the free transport was only for pick up, but as you can read above, we never got a response about arranging pick up. Finally, the staff member called the manager, who approved paying for our return transfer. The surrounding neighborhood doesn’t offer much and the side streets leading to hotel are dark and unpaved.

Aesthetically the hotel looks fabulous on their website however in reality it lacks many facilities I would expect from a 4 star hotel. There was no safety box in our room. The air conditioning was very poor and our room did not feel cool. The breakfast choice was very limited and one day our breakfast was cold. Two nights on the run I have been woken up by a sharp, loud beeping sound (I suspect this may be due to the fire alarm battery being low), I explained this to the staff and nothing was done about it, on the third day I could not face another disturbed nights sleep so I insisted they change the battery. This was done only after my persistence. The hotel staff are not accommodating, we felt we were not listened to and our requests were an inconvenience. The water pressure is poor and we have not received consistent hot water. The hotel is cash only and do not accept credit card payment, I find this surprising in this day and age from a 4 star hotel. The pool was not inviting. I ordered circus tickets online and asked them to print them, only to be told they have no printer however they managed to print an invoice at check out. The hotel location is really not the best, you can not explore by foot also tuk tuk drivers really struggled to find the hotel. Overall it has been a disappointing experience. I would not recommend this hotel at all. The only positive is that it has good WiFi connect.

A totally incredible villa. A lovely, peaceful and relaxing stay. The staff were truly amazing. The service we received by the team were spectacular. I had the best massage experienced by the therapist that was arranged by the villa. The therapist was very experienced and professional. She knew the points that i needed for my shoulder and back aches. Padi Villa serves delicious Indonesian Bali cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food were excellent. Thank you to the manager of Padi Villa and Ms Sophol for organising my stay in Padi Villa. Would definitely recommend this Villa for their quality and service.

The accommodation was great. Rooms are super big, clean and tidy. Staff are friendly and helpful.Our 4 days stay at Padi Villa was amazing. Peaceful view. Great place for distress. Would recommend for honeymooners. Would definitely make a come back.
