Commendation is consistent for the hotel's staff, who are noted for their warm and attentive service. Another very good experience with Golden Temple!
We have stayed at a sister hotel before and chose the residence this time.
The location is very convenient if you like a nightlife at your doorstep.
Personally me prefer a quieter places.
The stuff was great and deals well with a few issues during our stay.
Especially we had enjoyed the private transfers and excursions by Mr Bun Chhong, which were organized by the hotel.
Looking forward to staying in Siem Reap again with Golden Temple!

We have just checked out after 7 nights at the Golden Temple Hotel. So sorry to be leaving! The staff are so friendly and helpful from greetings to booking tours and transportation. The pool area is sparkling and so refreshing after a mornings tour! From breakfast to dinner the restaurant staff are attentive and friendly, the food is excellent with Khmer and western choices. We enjoyed a “cyclo” tour on the old fashioned bicycle tuktuk around the city. Especially interesting was the visit to the large locals market and the memorial to the Killing Fields.
And did I mention the location just about 3 blocks from Pub Street where you can find shopping, bars and restaurants galore. This little hotel has it all and you won’t be disappointed. There seem to be many cancellations due to the coronavirus but we found no reason to be afraid it you use good hygiene precautions. Thank you to each and every member of the staff for a wonderful week in Siem Reap!

I stayed 3 nights at Golden Temple. The service was outstanding.
The cost of the room included airport transfer, 1 massage, 1 lunch, 1 dinner and 1 snack box.
For airport pickup and drop off, a hotel team member came along on the ride, besides the driver. That was outstanding as service.
The room was adequate in size. The bathroom was a little small but very clean. The room I booked did not have any view, although it had a balcony that looked into the house next door. So I had the curtain closed all the times. The room was on the dark side.
The aircon was good. I did not use the pool. Breakfast was good and the restaurant was good for lunch and dinner.
The location was 10 minutes walking distance to Pub street and to the market. The hotel is on a side street and not on the grand boulevard. The hotel is a boutique hotel not for noisy tour groups.
In the overall, it is a good stay for the cost which is on the low side.

The staff here is super helpful, checking you in with snacks and a cool drink and cool rag, after the free ride from the airport. They also welcomed you with a smile. We had a superior double room, which had a double bed and a sitting area. The bathroom was nice and had a nice large shower. They decorated our room a number of times at check-in and again for my husband's birthday and even delivered a cake and sang Happy Birthday. The pool is really lovely as well and we were glad we had time to use it.
The food at the restaurant was pretty good and convenient to have breakfast there. We also ate a dinner and snack there as we had free vouchers. I also had a massage in the spa with a voucher, which was nice to relieve some of the ache in my legs after walking all day at Angkor Wat.
The hotel is located close enough to Pub Street and restaurants that you could walk, but we chose to take a tuk tuk since it was easy to get one outside the hotel. It was quiet at night and we slept well

Our group stayed here for 10 days and from the moment you arrived you felt like family. From the wonderful staff who made up our rooms and turned our beds down to the staff in the restaurant and front reception they could not do enough for you. Everyone always had a smile and beautiful greetings every time. Coming back from a day of touring to get a lovely fragranced cold towel was a great welcome. Thankyou seems inadequate. We will certainly be back. Xx

This hotel is a gem. Located within walking distance to the downtown it has a full-service spa, restaurant (breakfast was included with our stay and they have incredibly light and fluffy omelettes) and very nice pool. The rooms are clean, roomy and comfortable with low noise. But the thing that makes this place so special are the people who work there. Everyone I met went above and beyond; I stayed at the Golden Temple for my 50th birthday and while my wife and I were out she arranged for the staff to decorate our room for the occasion (included are some of the pictures) then at eight o’clock there was a knock at the door and the staff presented me with an opera cake and warm version of Happy Birthday. I was absolutely floored by the staff and their hospitality

I had the best time here. I was picked up at the airport, treated like gold! Welcome drinks and snacks and the staff were incredible.
The amenities were clean and well looked after. The rooms were cleaned and set up twice a day with multiple bottles of drinking water available.
The food was yummy and there was a free massage included in my stay!
It was a great location, close to everything and easy to get around for food, atms, activities etc.
I was warmly welcomed each time I entered the hotel and all the staff remembered my name.
I would highly recommend coming to stay here, excellent value for your money.

Arrived at the hotel late morning greeted with a cooling drink and cold towel. Check-in as somewhat confusing as they wanted to charge us for our stay despite having a e-voucher prepayment which we handed in alongside our passports for checking. Room was not quite ready despite my husband emailing ahead with the request many months ago. Eventually after about 45mins our room is ready so we are taken to it via the lift as we were on the second floor.
Room 50 is located at the back of the hotel overlooking the school building next door, our balcony had some bamboo screening but we still had to keep the window curtains closed as had to use lights within room as natural light was limited due to the proximity of the school building. Room was spacious but poorly laid out as limited space round one side of the bed, all plugs bar one were unusable due to their location, no drawer space at all, wasted space by sofa and table, bathroom access via a step which had an additional lip to it, poor wall finish, mould in shower area and toilet seat very stained and needs replacing. Bed was large and extremely comfortable. Housekeeping was good.
Lovely restaurant area overlooking the pool. Breakfast was more than adequate with both hot and cold selection, a egg station and good offering of teas and coffees all made fresh upon request.
Pool area is lovely with plenty of loungers and towels . Complimentary flavoured iced water and fresh banana chips appeared each time we sat around the pool. There is a raised terrace area overlooking the pool area that has been neglected although with a little clean up and new furniture/cushions would be a great addition to the restaurant and pool area.
As it was my 60th birthday whilst there my husband had tried to communicate via email about a sunrise Angkor Wat trip with guide unfortunately it seemed to get lost in translation but fortunately Nary & Bun Sot were able to arrange it for him face to face upon our arrival at hotel. We left at 4:45am with Tuk Tuk driver Rath, guide Phirum and a packed breakfast and hot coffees. Had an amazing morning wandering three temples and gaining historical knowledge from our guide who clearly loves his job and ensures the best spots to capture those memorable moments. Can highly recommend this trip.
Upon return to the hotel later that afternoon our room had been decorated then when relaxing around pool opening my cards the staff appeared singing Happy Birthday with a fabulous cake. Was such a moving moment as so surprised. They really did excel themselves on my birthday.
Whilst the hotel warrants a 3 possibly 4 star rating the staff are the stars of the show and warrant 5*

Customer service above and beyond from the moment you step in, greeted by a wonderful drink and snacks. Throughout our stay, staff members knew our names and were very invested in ensuring that our room and we had everything we needed. When I felt sick, staff brought tea to my room. We had complimentary massage, round trip ride and many other small touches.
Being that the hotel is small, you will find yourself engaging with other guests and staff often. Maybe not ideal for the moments you are seeking more privacy, however it makes the hotel feel more like a home than your typical. Would encourage the staff to minimize interactions, as it can feel overwhelming at times (was pressed to stay another night at the hotel immediately following a massage) however all in all I highly recommend!

Dear Sanjay B,
Greeting from Golden Temple Hotel,
Thank you so much for your message and interesting with our property. First of all, I would like to say sorry for the inconvenience caused due to the unclear information you experienced with regard to the meal inclusion on Agoda website. Agoda has very limited option for us to give a clear information about meal inclusion that we normally can do on our website and other Online Travel Agencies. As you can see that we only offer one time lunch and one time dinner with daily buffet breakfast during the stay. However; due to the long stay period; we are happy to give you another lunch and one dinner as an extra benefit; so that you will have twice lunch and twice dinner during your stay with us. Because of this sort of limitation information that we can display on Agoda; that is why we informed you via e-mail to avoid any confusion.
Please feel free to let me know how can we do better for you.
Thanks,
Best regards,
Luon Thea (Mr.)
