I absolutely loved my stay at Bokre Angkor. The owners have clearly put a LOT of thought into every single detail of their business. The staff are amazingly kind, helpful, and professional, and the room itself was immaculately clean, modern, and beautifully decorated. The on-site restaurant offers fresh, clean, delicious meals at a very reasonable price, and their coffee is among the best I've had anywhere in the world. It's close enough to the famed Pub Street area that you can enjoy a nice walk there and back, but far enough away that you can enjoy a very quiet night's sleep. The hostel offers free stations to refill water, and they're doing a fantastic job of eliminating one-time use plastic. My stay here was a highlight on my three-week trip throughout Cambodia and Thailand, and is now easily one of my favorite hostels in the whole world.

I've stayed in many hostels through Western Europe and Southeast Asia, and this was unquestionably the nicest, beyond that the staff was the extremely friendly. Bokre Angkor is nicer than many mid range hotels in the US. The only, slight, downside is that it's not as centrally located as it could be, but there are a fair amount of restaurants and shops within a five minute walk and getting downtown is only a 15-20 minute walk or a couple dollar tuk tuk ride. FYI, I stayed in a private room during the low season, but I heard great things about the dorms from other guests

Dear Matt, Thank you for taking the time to leave Bokre Angkor this lovely review! We appreciate your kind words. Our location, like you said, is a 15-20 minute walk or quick few minute tuk tuk ride downtown. While there are certainly other properties that might be closer, we appreciate our distance away from the major hustle and bustle, as well as the proximity to restaurants/shops that surround us :) We hope to welcome you back to Siem Reap one day! Best,

My friends and I stayed here for about 2 weeks in total. We stayed while we were on the World Race. This place was perfect for us: great staff, comfy beds, good food, good air conditioning... Natalia was always a great helpful. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants a nice place to chill. It’s also close to an awesome taco shop!

The staff were SO friendly! Talking with them and hearing their recommendations was a blast. Booking an Angkor Wat tour with them was a breeze and they're super accommodating with breakfast available even for the sunrise tour. The rooms were also really nice and the blankets were really good quality. I would definitely stay again!!
