Bokre is a classy, quiet little place that is centrally located. With lots of private rooms, it feels like a nice balance between hostel and hotel. As many others have mentioned, the real gem in this place is the staff! When travelling somewhere like Siem Reap, it is so incredibly helpful to have the knowledgeable, reliable, wonderfully friendly, superbly organized folks at Bokre.

These folks know what they're doing: they have super easy tuk tuk bookings with great choices for routes to explore the Angkor complex, and they offer pre-dawn breakfast pickup for sunrise over Angkor Wat, and a cute little pool to cool off in when you get back in the afternoon, cocktail in hand. I loved the convenience of booking our tours through the hostel, and the staff offer good recommendations on what to see and how to see it. The rooms were simple but spotless, with good AC (a must), a private bathroom, and laundry service available. The restaurant and bar downstairs is great with tasty food, great cocktails, and .50 cent pours of Cambodia draft served in icy cold glasses... nice!

Shout out to the most amazing hostel manager ever! He made our stay so wonderful, always looking out for us. I left a souvenir in the lobby while we were checking out, and not only did he remember who left it, but he sent me an email right away and made sure I got it back. Thank you so much Bokre Angkor Hostel, I'll miss you all!

After coming from a mosquito infested, dirty hostel this was an absolute haven! Tranquil inside the lobby, greeted with fresh water from one of their many water coolers on each floor. Smiles from each of the members of staff! The check in process was a breeze! They really make you feel at home and like a valued guest!

Even a little shaded pool, to cool off in after those long temple tours!

The rooms are beautiful, much more like a hotel than a hostel! Don’t be mislead by the outdated photos from 2014! This place has been renovated and is lovely! Air conditioning and a fan in each room! Lovely comfortable beds (make a real difference when you are travelling SE Asia). A television with good signal and loads of channels! Amazing!
Also complimentary tea/coffee available!
A safe is also on hand for your many expensive goods!
They also offer laundry services (another must for the stinky travellers)

Their bathrooms are clean a hot shower and have everything you could need! Shampoo and soap!

They all have lots of knowledge of the area and offer many tours out to the many sights of Siem reap at an amazing price!

Location is a bit further away from pub street etc. (Could be a plus if you wish to sleep well!)But tuk tuks are widely available and cost little less that $1 to get to most places!

Overall a perfect hostel and we can’t believe what you get for the price of this place!
Thankyou Bokre Angkor Hostel!

I was super impressed by the level of service provided by all the members of staff, be it the receptionists, waitresses, chefs, cleaners, drivers or the security guards.

The hostel is located in a very well-connected area with which nice restaurants are just around the corner, and it's not far to walk to the city centre/Pub Street. I've almost never met such friendly members of staff in a hostel, and I am already missing the tuk tuk driver provided by the hostel!

Food at the hostel restaurant is highly recommended, it's authentic and flavourful but not expensive at all.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. If I ever come back to Siem Reap again, I'll definitely stay in the same hostel!

With a good manner of receptionist, the price is really acceptable even for Khmer citizen, quiet and peaceful place after having a good trip around Angkor wat or pub street. I love the hot and cold water dispenser in each floor, it's kind of saving as well.
I recommend everyone who is looking for a hostel to sleep at Siem reap. Chose this one. I have a really good experience in here. There are 2 times that I've been there. They are still the best for me.

This is a very good place to stay. It’s calm and quiet and only has a couple of dorms (with airconditioning) on the top floor. Staff is very professional and helpful with organizing all kinds of things for you. The food from the in-house restaurant is tasty enough, reasonably priced and of course convenient. The service by the staff is very professional. The pool is tiny and with the green temple like ambiance it’s perfect to relax. It can be social with a very mixed crowd staying here. It’s a 25 minute walk to the town center, but you’ll find enough good places to eat within 10 minutes walking distance.

This hostel/ hotel was incredible and perfect for our stay. Me and my friend were in Siem reap for 2 nights only and we got a private 2 bed room. Air conditioning and a fan which is a must here! The staff is probably the best part!! SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL!! they immediately gave us recommendations of what to do with our time and how to book the events, transportation, etc. additionally- we didn’t have a bus out till much later in the day and they still let us stay, kept our bags, use the showers and pool. So nice would definitely come back!

Great hostel. Very clean quiet and very friendly staff.
Easy to get to the famous Pub street, you can either go for a 15-20 walk or easily get a tuk tuk which will take 5 min.
I totally recommend it, specially if your looking for a relaxing atmosphere away from the busy city center.

This place is fantastic. Clean, friendly staff who honestly can’t do enough for you, great location and a small pool.
But best of all is the restaurant.
We ate in the swanky Marum and this place beats it hands down... not surprisingly some of the kitchen staff trained there!
Had a private double with en suite and ac and the only tiny issue was that some of the U.K. (!) fitted wall sockets didn’t work... didn’t inconvenience us in any way so really struggling to say anything that could be better!
I only ever review exceptional places ( good or bad) and this is seriously very good indeed

Great to have location walking distance from our bus stop. Two nights in the 🌆 and hostel. Really appreciated good inputs from receptionist about renting tuk tuk for whole day doing small tour temples circuit , taking take away lunch from hostel for full day trip and dress code. Happy with four beds room with bath room. Having good breakfast 🧇 and dinner 🥘 during our efficient trip in Siem Reap, good choice 👍 for local and western cuisine . Many restaurants and pubs nearby.

I would highly recommend this place. Very clean and comfortable. Staffs are very friendly, helpful and kind. They have a complimentary pick-up option. I would also recommend booking Cambodian Cooking Class through them if you have any culinary interest or want to learn how to cook some delicious food in a very short time. I also booked my transportation from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh and my journey was pretty comfortable too.
