I've stayed at the Golden Banana maybe 10 times over the past 6 years, and loved it every time. Any time I've come to Siem Reap and haven't managed to get a booking here, I've been heartbroken! It's peaceful, and the pool and restaurant are lovely. The staff are unfailingly smiling and helpful. The rooms range in price, so there's... More

GB is quiet and clean - not something you'll find often in Siem Reap. The room was well kept; however, the pillows were disgusting. I asked for clean pillows for three days and never got them so I bought my own. The main problem with this hotel is the staff - the are rude and not very helpful. I would... More

I stayed in a Standard room for for 3 nights. I really enjoyed my stay here. All the staff were very friendly. I had a problem with the bathroom which Makara the day manager had fixed immediately. The salt water swimming pool was really nice. This hotel is really close to everything and the staff can arrange any trips or... More

A wonderful place to stay in Siem Reap that provides a calm oasis in the centre of Siem Reap. Once in the shaded courtyard centred around the salt-water pool you'll soon forget the bustle of the Siem Reap streets. I've stayed here a few times now and everytime I am almost loathe to finish my breakfast and leave for the... More

This hotel is close to all amenities in Siem Reap. Wonderful accommodation, great staff who were always most helpful. Breakfasts were delicious as were the dinners we had at the hotel. Rooms spotlessly clean. The pool was wonderful to chill at to replenish ones tired limbs. I have no hesitation recommending this hotel.

I stayed here with my husband and my parents last month and we all had an amazing visit. When we first arrived my husband noticed that there were some mosquitos in our room. We mentioned this to the front desk and they immediately changed our room. The 2nd room was clean and mosquito free. The staff at the front desk... More

Nice place, good value. We decided to stay in a standard sized room. It was a bit small for our liking I would recommend the Villas on my next trip. Breakfast is nice and hearty, many options available. located right near Night Market and Pub Street it was convenient for the purposes of our visit. The staff was wonderful, I... More

We were greeted with beverages upon check in and introduced to the town by a very kind a helpful associate, Makara. We appreciated the note from the owner in the info packet sharing GB's mission and story. Room was lovely, everything we needed and was quite charming. Breakfast was nice as was the pool! I would recommend to friends in... More

The guys at the front desk are awesome! They showed us a number of rooms until we found the right one (deluxe by pool). They also had great tips for exploring Siem Reap. The property is beautiful but the staff put it over the top!

This B&B used to be a great place but this season it seems that less people are coming to Siem Reap. They still have two salt water swimming pools, one shaded and one sunny. The staff has changed a lot (mostly for the good). The food can be catered to your whims (and I have a lot). Breakfast is included... More
