I began my stay in May of 2019 and stayed on and off all the way through August. I basically got to know all of the staff. The staff was great! I remember being picked up by the airport pickup they offer, one of their ambassadors was there, Rosie. She was extremely nice and enjoyable. I began to become friends with much of the staff, and now have them in FB. Alvin or Vichet, His Khmer name, was very awesome and friendly. He made jokes all the time. He was always quick to do the tasks you asked him to do. It was always exciting seeing him whenever I came to stay at the Bliss. He was hilarious. Good English too. Pheaktra, who often worked as a waiter and doing other odds and ends, though he may have been deaf and mute could communicate love. I really enjoyed this man. It’s easy to feel shy or intimidated when you don’t know how to communicate with someone, but it just starts with acknowledgement. I would communicate with him using numbers and calendars on my phone. We would use emojis. Neither of us knew sign language, but we figured out some ways to communicate, so becoming friends with this man was highly enjoyable. I highly recommend taking the time to invest in Pheaktra. He is lovely. Lin was another who worked as a waiter. He didnt really know English, but that’s okay. Very professional looking. He would often take my breakfast order and we would speak what little bit we knew of each other’s language to each other. Neth was a waitress. Not much of an English speaker, but she still did well at her job. She is not a loud individual. She is very quiet, but will always give you a smile when taking your order. Thyda, worked the front desk. Good English speaker. Very professional and she will find a way to help you with whatever you need. She is a woman who will part waters to accomplish a task. Sopkon. He just started working there before I left Cambodia, but he was very nice and professional, as well as a good English speaker. He often worked the front desk. Very friendly. The cleaning crew. They did very well. Whenever I was out they would always clean my room. None of them really speak English, but that’s okay. Make my bed, sweep my floors, clean my toilet, new towels, refill the complimentary water. They were friendly. Even if you don’t speak the English acknowledgement or smiling does so much. I would have fun trying to say their names. Other than that couldn’t really communicate, but it’s fun. The pool was nice. The waterfall is a super nice touch. Really cuts down on mosquitos because it isn’t stagnant water. The beds were comfortable. Multiple times I laid in them for a ridiculously long time. The showers had excellent pressure and temperature. I often felt like I was about to burn my skin off. I would have to turn down the heat. I would recommend pulling out the drain while you shower as the water tends to drain slow. Some bathrooms have a pipe that runs in them that sometimes smells, just close the bathroom door and turn on the fan and it should be fine. WiFi, pretty much always worked. Maybe a few times I had glitches with it. But I spent a lot of time in northern Cambodia and Bliss had some of the better internet. Of course with less people there the WiFi works better. Pictured is me and Pheaktra.

The staff at this small boutique hotel go out of their way to ensure you have a happy and comfortable stay. It has a lovely pool area, spacious rooms and good internet. The breakfast options are good. The AC works well. It is 10 minute walk to the market. A 15 - 20 trip to the airport. A very pleasant place to stay. The owner general manager and his staff a most approachable and really do their very best to keep you happy. A nice touch is that they employ some mute and physically disadvantaged staff. They do a great job. We would stay again when we revisit Siem Reap.

The hotel is more a 3 stars hotel then a 4 stars. It is well situated and in a quite street. From around 1 Km from Street Pub. The hotel has a nice swimming pool. The room are great but furniture are old. Each room has a terrace First day we had a breakfast buffet and after only "a la carte". The hotel provide for free, bicycles, but they are a bit old.
