We were very confused on arrival as the entrance appears to be in a garage entrance. Apparently post-covid the reception desk and dining room were removed so there is now an open space with a sofa and coffee table. After some confusion as to our booking as we arrived a day late after travelling (I had emailed several times to inform the management), we were shown to our apartment. It was spacious and tidy with a separate living area and a large ornate bed. The bathroom had a stone double ended bath, which I would have loved to use but the blind was broken above the bath and there were cobwebs all the way up the tall window (I am a bit arachnophobic). Luckily there was also a walk in shower. I also didn't use the drawers in the wardrobe as they were all broken, but we managed with the few hangers available, and a shelf. The pool area wasn't really cleaned (there was mould in places and floating debris) and the spa, pool bar and facilities were closed post-covid. The 3 staff running the hotel in the absence of the management tried to be very helpful and kind and made our stay memorable. Without the broken features, and the lack of breakfasts (that were advertised in the listing) this would have definitely been a 4 star hotel. Unfortunately, it fell short but I think this is the situation all over Cambodia as they were one of the last countries to lift restrictions for tourism.…
Due to COVID 19 and the related economic downturn the restaurant and skybar weren't open which is to be expected. Extremely helpful, attentive staff. Very clean , spacious rooms. The resident Tuk tuk driver is a bonus for getting around Angkor Wat and Siem Reap. Well equipped gym and awesome swimming pool. Highly impressed, well worth the money.
The hotel has an absolutely gorgeous rooftop pool which we totally enjoyed at the end of our day but the pool area wasn’t kept up as much as it could be. Plants were not well cared for, wet towels were left overnight, a beer can was left out, etc. Our room was perfectly fine, large and clean, though quite dark. Staff was helpful but with limited English which made communication more challenging. The food in the dining area was just fair and tables did not appear to be cleaned at the beginning of every day. The price of our spacious room was reasonable. I appreciated the free transportation from the airport.
The rooms are large with nice wooden classic furniture. Well appointed with robes, slippers, ironing board/iron, living room, updated bathrooms. Freshly cooked breakfast made to order. Only negative for tourists is it is in a residential area further away from all the tourist areas downtown. If you are going to Angkor Wat and not too concerned about going out at night than this is a very good hotel choice.
Excellent hotel with friendly, polite and helpful staff at reception and restaurant. Very spacious apartment type accomadation with furnished kitchen Good variety of food for BF, lunch and dinner Centrally located Recommend this hotel for everyone
really unique hotel - run by locals. Actually the rooms are apartments so you get a kitchen, living area and bedrooms with separate bathrooms. staff were very friendly and helpful and the food is also really good.
This little hotel was such a great find and a welcome relief after the hot, humid days exploring Siem Reap and area. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was fresh and they offered a free trip a day to the city. The location was out of the downtown core which is a relief once you would go and visit/shop there. The amenties were great, the rooftop pool was refreshing, staff amazing and friendly, and the bed was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel and everything about it. The neighbourhood was quiet at night (other than the animals outside) and the staff even made me a breakfast to take with me when I went to Angkor Wat for the sunrise.
All the rooms are suites. As we were traveling with our girls, we picked the 2 bedroom one. Lots of room and nice amenities. There was a Nespresso maker in the room. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. Hotel is about 10 minutes from the market which was fine for u. They provided the rides into town and to/from airport for free. Lastly the staff was great. Menu was super nice and did everything we asked with a smile on. Attached a photo of the rooftop pool.
This little hotel boosts very nice suites, a lot of comofort, an inhouse restaurant, tuktuk shuttle service to the airport, a very nice location (central but quiet) and last but not least very friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent hotel, service, food, and amenities! Highly recommend! Only drawback is lack of elevator to top floor with pool. Location is difficult to find, but Diem Reap is small, so everything is conveniently close. Hotel provides shuttle service to and from airport and downtown attractions.
