We prefer to stay outside busy cities so this was just right place for us. In authentic village, nice and comfy rooms, great food. Jackson and his family are great hosts, we felt very welcomed. Jackson also recommended us nice, smiley tuk-tuk driver (USD 2 to Siem Reap city center) who we used during our whole stay including our trip to amazing Angkor Wat.

We stayed here for 3 nights during which we did a 3-day tour around Angkor. When we arrived in the middle of the afternoon Jackson sorted out food for us even though the restaurant was closed - a huge mountain of fried noodles and rice appeared which we couldn't finish despite only having a packet of crisps each for breakfast. So much food. All the meals were enormous which sets you up well in the morning for exploring Angkor. Jackson helped us plan out a course for the temples, which ones to see and when, and which ones to speak out extra on. He also sorted out a Tuk Tuk driver from the village for us - Bros - who took us round for the 3 days. His icebox of water was essential! The Tuk Tuk was a fair price - the same as you'd get in the centre of SR. The room itself was clean and came with a mosquito net over the bed. The bathroom was basic but did the job. The main reason to stay here is the family - they are so kind and helpful and they really went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

The first thing that met me was a village party. And the bas was so loud the walls were thumping. Aka not able to sleep. I understood the noise since they were celebrating their new year. I asked my host if he could go turn the bass down, and it got better. The room itself was clean enough. But no aircon, which you need in this heat. Also the quilts had no cover... Right outside the room there was a frog and a huge thropical spider of some sort. The bath was wet, full of mosquitoes and not very pleasant. All in all I hated my time, and couldn't wait for morning so I could leave. Had it not been out in the wild, I would have found a new place to stay for the night. The host was really really nice though and I got picked up at the airport and got to buy a nice breakfast, so I wish the place had been better.

I really loved this place! Why? It's located in a little authentic village very close to the center of Siem Reap. You experience in the real Cambodia, you are living between the locals. The place is really cozy, you see they really tried their best to make the place really nice. There is lots of nature. It's quiet and feels comfortable. I stayed 5 days and every morning I did yoga in the grass next to the house. My room was really clean and there is a lot of space. Jackson was so nice, he makes your stay so comfortable and helps you with everything. I got a mosquito net, which they have. What was really cool that a little kid showed me around the village, he took me to the ricefields which is really close! Beautiful to see..! The food is cheap and delicious! Overall this is a really beautiful and authentic place to stay. You will definitely like it!!
