Travelers' Choice
Nita by Vo Angkor Resort, Trip-advisor Traveller's Choice 2019 Winner, set against a backdrop of lush Cambodian countryside, the minimalist Nita by Vo Angkor Resort is a low-rise retreat with modern flat-roofed architecture. Inside, the 25 villas make for elegant, clean-cut spaces and sit around an infinity-edged pool. Framed by swaying palm trees and other flora, they offer quiet repose from the region's many attractions. Just a tuk-tuk ride from Siem Reap's centre, you'll be well placed to explore the once-dusty-village's impressive Old Market, buzzy bars and boutique shops selling Cambodian-made fashion and homewares. And with the extraordinary Temples of Angkor nearby too - an unskippable sight for any visitor to Siem Reap - this luxury resort puts ancient landmarks, idyllic pastoral landscapes and the country's most urbane destination all within easy reach.

Our family of 5 was met at the airport after a long journey from Norway. Comfortable ride in a spacious minivan with AC. Arriving at the hotel we were met by an absolutely fantastic team of friendly staff who did their utmost to make us feel comfortable. Our rooms were ready for us even though we arrived early in the day, which we were grateful for. Spacious and comfortable rooms with quiet surroundings. Some of us made use of the SPA service which was also great. Last but not least; we had a few weeks prior to our arrival asked the hotel to arrange for guided trips for 2 days, which also worked out very well. In short; highly recommended for both families (with older kids) or couples looking for a romantic retreat.

Arrived early as our flight had been changed due to the virus sweeping the world, first impressions where really good, looked clean and our room was huge, the staff where lovely and I was very happy with the main pool area, looked lovey. Small problem with our french doors in the room, they could not close fully and no matter how many times you tried, there was always a gap big enough for the bugs to enter. The furniture in the room also had its faults wardrobes sticking, didn’t spoil our time so let it go, the next day we had an all day trip to the temples, on the very early start in the morning, I decided to leave my camera bag behind the tv in the room and only take my camera with me, after my return I entered the room to find my camera bag on the floor, opened with my large lense broken along side my bag, I immediately went to reception asking what happened. They stated they needed time to investigate, on the night I went down to the city in tuk tuk, enjoyed the city and on returning the driver asked fo 4 dollars for the trip, as I only had 3 dollars change and a 20 dollar note, driver had no change, I asked at reception to change the 20 dollars so I could pay the driver and was astounded to find the hotel doesn’t carry a float, ended up having to pay the driver £10 about 12 dollars. The hotel does have a spa, We went for our free massage and the hotel only has 1 masseur so had to get someone in to massage the wife, I booked another for after the trip to the temples, have to be honest, the price and the massage was pretty poor. The manager informed me he had spoken to the cleaners and they swore blind the camera bag was on the table behind the tv when they cleaned my room, so the ghost must have entered my room while I was out all day and waited for the cleaners to leave before smashing my lense on the floor. Thankfully it was only the outer casing what broke and not the whole lense. Would I stay here again, probably not, little to far out for my liking, and too many faults, missing tiles in our private pool, not cleaned once during our stay but some of the staff where lovely, like Nut and Vanna are an asset to the hotel.

Beautiful relaxed hotel. Excellent personal service. Breakfast has a great selection of freshly cooked items - continental or American style or Asian. Rooms are spotlessly clean and spacious. The roof top pool is fabulous, quiet and relaxing. the manager gave us personal service right from the airport pick up, and throughout or stay, and all the staff were great, looking after our every need.
