Great room with clean bed sheets and towels, amazing pool with a beautiful garden surrounding, kind staff and for a very good price. It worth it every penny we spent. I really recommend it to everyone in every kind of visit.
We spent 4 very nice nights in a room with balcony on the second floor. Our room was big and really nice. The small balcony is really great for enjoying relaxing time, especially for sunrise or sunset. The swimming pool is beautiful and the staff was really attentive to our needs, even before we asked! Thank you very much for that. The hotel is very quiet as it’s not located in the city center, but really close to many good spots, few minutes by tuk tuk. You can even walk if the weather is not too hot. It’s really worth the money.
We stayed for four nights in a first floor luxury balcony room. The room was very clean and comfortable, and had plenty of space to relax in. The hotel itself is down a dirt track in the middle of nowhere, however this does make it very peaceful, there are local and touristy restaurants a short walk away, and it only took fifteen minutes to walk to the Old Market and Pub Street. The staff were very friendly, and the owners - who speak good English - are only a phone call away if there is an issue. Our only quibble was that my Asian husband tired of eggs and bread for breakfast every day, but once they let him switch to noodles everything was perfect!
Love this place. Close enough to walk to main square and hidden amongst a lively district. A little oasis from the bustle. If you go, take the advice from the concierge staff. They're very helpful and provide excellent suggestions for things to do. Especially the dinner and the show, or providing breakfast pre-made if you're endeavouring to see the Angkor wat sunrise.
Thank you to Yaya and family for amazing hospitality throughout our stay at their villa! From the beginning to the end of the trip Yaya guided us with suggestions of best tourist attractions and foods. We were a group of 22 and Yaya was very understanding and adjusting to any of our needs from breakfast and swimming pool timings to booking transportation for us. The villa was extremely cozy while being very stylish. Furthermore, it was walking distance to several restaurants, grocery stores and Pub Street which we absolutely loved! The tuk tuk can drop you directly to the villa so it is convenient! We loved our stay there, highly would recommend!
Gorgeous family run villa with eight rooms only and a salt water pool; great breakfast and close to excellent restaurants and bars...Rent a bicycle and cruise the city easily from Sam So's, book a private tour of Angkor Wat and surrounding temples, hang by the pool and jacuzzi and drink ice cold beers, or just chill in your air con lux room and watch tv with plenty of English and other language channels or surf the net. I loved this place. I'll be back one day.
This is my 2nd time staying here. The best kept secret in Siem Reap, very peaceful with great interior design. The hotel is away from the tourists, very clean/big room/balcony, near local community schools, quiet peaceful place to sleep. The swimming pool has a welcoming feels and the staffs are all helpful / lovely. 15 mins walk to the old market, 10 mins walk to a good french bakery, 2 mins walk to a convenience store and a Belgium restaurant. Thank you Mr./Mrs. Sotheavy and the staffs given me a wonderful time in Siem Reap again . I am coming back next year.
A few times when I visit Siem Reap I spend just a few dollars more to stay in the Samso Boutique Hotel. It is brand new and clean and the staff is awesome. The breakfast is superb and made to order along with many buffet items. The salt water pool is refreshing and relaxing. When I want a little more luxury for just a few dollars more, Samso is my place.
This is a small, almost private retreat hotel. Great rooms, pool, and great staff. Samso is a good man and his hotels are a great place to stay. The Boutique is a brand new place that needs to be better known.
This is the second time I have stayed at this well run, friendly and professional hotel. The rooms are perfect, clean, spacious and easy to relax in. The beds are so comfortable. The pool is a lovely, quiet place for a dip to cool down. I really can't say enough about the staff. They helped us to plan our entertainment, booked our tickets for us and arranged tuk tuks, as well as having a wonderfully helpful staff, the owners are warm, friendly and make sure all your needs are met.We arrived early and our room was already prepared. A real luxury hotel but great value for money!
